This is a simple speed ramp effect. It's amazing. Filming in like 4x slow motion then putting it back to normal speed in post is satisfying. You then get great control on what you want to slow an add emphasis

Love Daniel Schiffer and James Matthews, and love your sequences man, the focus was perfect and the camera movements were so fluid and very creative.
I'm trying to learn how to get better at stylised b-roll sequences myself, it's not easy to master!

Wooooow those sequences are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 i can't believe that they are with sony a6300 the look is superb and perfect the music is really exciting and lit ,although, i think there is one thing that is missing and it's the TRANSITION, you just need to make it seamless and some smooth cut on some shots, Other than that، these footages looks dope🔥

That looks amazing! Out of curiosity, how long did it take you to get to this level? And does better gear help you improve faster? I appreciate that the question is a bit vague and that it depends from person to person and how much time you practice but I’m just curious for a ball park figure to see how long it took you before you looked at one of your videos and said…”ok yeah this is good” 😅. For example in my career it took me around 3 years before I looked at my work and said…ok I can make a living doing this.

Okay i am gonna give you some good criticism. I saw a loot of this sequences and have to say this one is really good but still there is some stuff to improve.
My main problem with these sequences is missed focus on objects, which viewers would like to see sharp and full of detail (for example 1:02-1:04). In this type of video most of the time, you want to work with manual focus without changing it during the shot, because as you said its too hard to pull focus during the shot. And then you design shots to work with constant depth of focus. Also this depth is too small. I have feeling that aperture was about 1.4-2.0.
Good to see sound effects but i personally think some of them are too loud and sometimes a little incorect. Sound effects are supposed to engage viewer more in video, not to distract them.
I think you would set lighting much better at night. This window creates so much dark spaces or shadows where we would like to have at least mid tones.
Really immpresive is that how these shots are smooth, thats literally insane. Did you use strap on your neck?
