@@peterfritzphoto funny, that video was the first one I came across. I fell in love with photography and cars in my youth. I gave up one of those passions, except the occasional iPhone grab of a cool scene, but now I’m venturing back to a combination of both passions…cars and cameras. Cheers mate!

Peter, pity you don’t live closer. Would love to chat in person one day. I’m 61 and pretty content but love your outlook/comments that do resonate with me. Love photography/tech/MX and cars. Weirdly I just sold a new Macan T and swapped it for 2 fun cars (Kona N daily and a ND MX5 RF weekender) despite what some friends thought. Maybe I’ll go to a Boxster one day as roof down life is pretty cool although the 911 shape is still sublime… Sigh.
I think you made a very wise decision, mate. Yep, a face-to-face would be lovely, I’m sure. Sadly, most of the interesting people I’ve met here live about 10-15,000 kms away!
watching your videos is never a waist of time! i always look forward hearing from you. live isn't easy. i was a widow age 34. my husband had a heart attack and died age 38. I'm glad you are alive and can be with your family hope for a long rest of your life. take care! LG Gabriela from Germany

Happy New Year Peter, on balance, your life journey has been remarkable and rewarding and may it continue for many years to come. We all follow different paths, some of it by design and but more often by chance and good luck. Circumstances allowed me to migrate to the lucky country a year or so after your birth! I worked and studied and married the love of my life and last week we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary! The journey wasn’t always easy, but through determination and commitment we achieved our goals. In retirement I developed passion, or perhaps obsession for photography ( albeit I am still learning ) , gardening and supporting some causes that are good for the soul . Take care and keep us motivated to strive for better and fulfilling future.

I'm 62 next birthday. I paid off the mortgage just before Christmas. Donna and I are now totally free of debt. What an amazing feeling. Our only obligation is to ourselves to, as you say, live a good life. All the best for 2024 Peter.

Peter, have been a viewer of your channel for some time now and have seen your car (and life experience) on the channel. Having experienced my last birthday @ 59, Dec 2023. I have previously disclosed that I currently have a My14 Boxster s 981(PDK). Well at prompting from no one really, and at the horror of some, I've just ordered a MY24 Boxster GTS (6sp Manual). What could go wrong, yeah right? Delivery expected before July 31. You do only live once right? For anyone in SE QLD. PGC are absolutely brilliant!
Haha - good for you, John! Your wise decision will almost certainly extend your lifespan by at least 10 years!
Seriously I see it as a (Risky) Investment. Being the last ICE Boxster and a Manual, it may become somewhat unique and therefore hold it's value. I kept options to a minimum. Guards Red Dials and Seatbelts plus that Aluminium Fuel Cap. Time will Tell.....

Your comments resonate a lot with me Peter, but you are younger than me-and yes I was driving extremely young age as well. Heart attacks?-well you are one of the lucky survivors as I'm sure you realise. I like your videos a lot, and I have a nice amaranth red 981 Cayman so a bit in common there=also had a close friend die when I was about your age=it caused me a lot of upset. I would like to give you something back in return that might be of some use. Haven't had a heart attack but heart not 100% After a lot of research I discovered cayenne pepper. Might be good for you to have a bottle of it handy, and if you read what it can do for your heart-bring you back almost from the dead-literally. A little research on it on google or whatever, it might be of interest to you. BTW, I just subscribed
