Which Series 7B episode are you most looking forward to me reviewing in the new year?
Journey to The Centre of the Tardis.... I enjoyed that one unlike the rest of the season
The Crimson Horror, by far Gatiss' best

Honestly I like series 7B even tho everyone else hates it
6/10 is a fair score for a conceptually promising episode with an unfortunately flaccid final act, that love ending is full on cheese
Feels like it was trying to imitate blink with the ending, but failed utterly.
Fun Fact: Some working titles for this episode were Phantom of the Hex and The Hider in the House

A great video about a good episode, I thought you'd rate it a smidgeon higher but we mostly agree about its quality.

I remeber seeing the series 7 trailer and thinking this dark misty field of trees was the fields of Trenzalore…instead we just got a sappy lovey dovey ending

to be honest i really enjoyed this episode, not a huge fan of series 7 compared to Smith's other series but Hide is one of the few i would watch daily

AH. Finally, I was waiting for a review for this episode, I thought it was *okay* at best, I didn't hate it, but it wasn't amazing, I agree with your neutral 6/10.

It's just a frustrating episode IMO because it was _this_ close to being easily one of the best episodes in S7, but completely shot itself in the foot for the sake of... I dunno, can you even call it "shock factor"?
I get that the "misunderstood monster" twist is fairly common in sci-fi/fantasy but on this occasion it just felt so shoehorned
I literally have no memory of this episode lol
I thought the idea of the episode was excellent (it made sense to go there at that time for a bigger mystery) and the first 40 minutes was amazing (possibly the best)…but the end sucked a lot. Your score is about right.
I gave it a 7 out of 10, but 6 is okay in my book too.
I actually saw this one and to be honest with you I was more freaked out than anything else and yeah I did kind of think it sucked
Who watched the devil's hour on Amazon prime? It was produced by Steven moffats wife Sue virtue and stars Jessica rayne and Peter Capaldi and has real similarities to this episode and even more so hell bent! It was great, but after I watched it I couldn't unsee the similarities especially with the same 2 actors!

I'm surprised you didn't comment on that stupid "I am the Doctor, and I am afraid" line. It's my least favourite piece of dialogue in the entire show, makes me wanna vom.
