- I played all the endings of all Metro games and I want to show them in this video. The following list shows the possible endings:
1) Metro 2033:
1.1 Ranger (Destroy the Dark Ones)
1.2 Enlightened (Spare the Dark Ones)
1.3 Do Nothing
2) Metro Last Light:
2.1 C'est la Vie (Activate Self-destruction of D6)
2.2 Redemption (Dark Ones save D6)
3) Metro Exodus:
3.1 Your Destination (Artyom becomes leader of the Order)
3.2 Eternal Voyage (Artyom dies)

@@pirkkorouvinen8522 Metro cant really stay in a Metro, forever. Its gonna get boring at some point. The open world elements of Exodus was a good choice and was recieved good mostly.
The bad end for Exodus is kinda cool. It's nice to see Bourbon again and I guess Khan is somehow able to visit the land of the dead
Khan is some sort of shaman. They do a better job of explaining it in the books.
These 3 games are one of the best games that I've ever played
The good ending is too hard to achieve in last light. It’s way more balanced in Exodus.
The most important choices are to make sure Pavel, Lesnitsky, and the giant bear in the forest survive. Other than that, using knockouts instead of killing gets easy you moral points. I had so many that I was able to kill all of the Reds that were burning Oktyabrskaya and still got the good ending.

@@BlueDodger095 I use knockout instead of melee kill also doing charity and listening to the conversation between civilian could help you achieve the good ending.

@Zxz I agree and its probably why the moral system in last light was fundamentally broken
Tbh what you essentially have to do is listen to every NPC conversation you can find, never fire your gun at anyone because any killing is frowned upon mostly, donate military grade ammo to those in need and spare boss enemies lives.
It's far far better in exodus because its independently based on enemy type. So while the villagers are over the top in their disdain towards technology and attack artyoms team on sight, on the other hand you also meet many villagers who get by and remain neutral, even friendly if you choose to help them from bandits. Plus, their motivation is justifiable (after all, technology did create an atomic bomb which destroyed Russia.)
Bandits on the other hand you can fire away at no trouble. In fact there's almost always an enemy type that you can kill as their behaviour towards people is cruel and unjust. I mean thank christ, cause could you imagine having to go through the cannibal section and be told you can only knock them out?
I should really do a video on this lol because I always liked, especially in exodus' case, that firing a gun in this series is a choice and not a reflex action.
For my blind playthrough of this series I got Bad 2033, Good Last Light, Good Exodus.
So canon playtrought x)
I miss Kahn and the Dark Ones. I hope they return in the next Metro game title.
I've got good ending in all three, but the third one always made me cry. The ending is so sad, and the theme hit so hard. The best ending in my opinion. Can't wait for the 4th one in the series.
Will there be a fourth one in the series? Is it confirmed?

I had no idea I got the good ending in Exodus at first, but man that ending had me in slight tear. Then watching the bad ending. I was so damn glad I got the good first😅

the bad ending is the same when you drive the car into the snow, the only difference is artyom dies in the train afterwards

@@flameninja2287 I started playing Metro Exodus first so I didn't know but in the other metros I didn't kill anyone but I still got the bad endings in both.

I just realized after 2-3 years now that the dude you talk to while he lights the candles around the skulls in Metro Exodus in the end, he kinda reminds me of Khan who mysteriously disappeared.
It is Khan, you can tell by the end of his bread and you can vaguely see his red head band

Canonically for 2033 and last light, Artyom bombs the dark ones then earns their forgiveness through the little dark one
Yeah so bad ending is cannon in 2033, and good ending is cannon for both Last Light and Exodus.
Also a new game is confirmed to be worked on.
@@Aztrud Oh shit now that you say that I realise that my first blind playthroughs through all 3 games were cannon. I got Bad for 2033, Good for Last Light, and finally Good for Exodus.
It was neat in games like Wolfenstein New Order where decisions effected the next game so in a way it has 2 different campaigns in a way
@@legoman81020 it's probably designed to be that way, I played the games blind and got the same as you. from what I remember, 2033 has you do a bunch of specific bullshit to be able to get the good ending

After playing exodus and then comming back to last light the experience was horrible like there is a huge gap how this game inproved over years i only fibished last litht again just to bring back memoires but it was horrible experience

Its a bit sad if you think the bar ending is the canon ending
If anything it went backwards. Exodus is the worst one story wise but gameplay wise the best one. 2033 is the starter so it will always be the best one, last light was good but the story didn’t make any sense at all. You look for the last dark one to kill it which makes the spartan ending canon is ok l guess, but then they forced anna on you. She so bipolar, she hates you and when she loses you she falls in love with artyom, wtf. Then miller became more annoying, always yelling at artyom when he never did that to you in 2033 another wtf moment. The exploration of last light was great, both metro and the outside. Lastly exodus, my god. So l get that artyom is trying to get a signal to see if there are more people outside the metro but what made him do that? If he wanted to leave why didn’t he just use one of the many vehicles that they have from d6 or the spartans made vehicles? The whole exploring on the outside was cool too but kinda takes away from the style of metro. That’s kinda like making a game around water and then you go to space for some reason that doesn’t make any sense. Then the level when you go to desert was bland also. And lastly the loading times in exodus, why does it take 5min for you to load in compared to the last 2 games? Modding your guns on the fly is cool tho. That’s why l think exodus is the worst one
