Olympia came from Illyria. In the Alexander film, the accent sounds Slavic - like the people of the lands that were called Illyria in the past.

Netflix could do few seasons of real TV series about the Hellenistic Age.
Like, start with Philip end with Cleopatra and Mark Anthony.
And i would like to see mythology movies with Jupiter, Mars ect.

Mini series, 10 episodes, two hours each, sounds great. Still loving the film, nontheless.

What do you mean, you don't see maps until the medieval period. It was the Hellenistic Greeks who regularly produced maps in Alexandria. The first known map was made 25000 years ago in Czech Republic. So the idea that Alexander had maps was not that far fetched.

The unity of Alexander can be seen when he "freed Egypt" from Persian occupation. The Egyptians saw him as a liberator.
