- I walk through the steps to tighten a loose bottom bracket on your bike. I recommend using a flat head screwdriver, hammer, crescent wrench, and vise grips for this job. Hope it helps!

Thank You Soooo Much! Your video saved me a trip to the Bike Store to tighten the crank on my Schwinn which has loosened up over 2 years. Pretty sure that was the cranking metal type noises I was hearing, especially going up a hill. I will have to see if I can tighten the crank on my old 2001 Mongoose also this way.
your video solved my headache. thanks
Mine too!
thanks dude. Fixed my shite walmart bike. It only came with loose crank, warped wheels, and bad brakes. Such pride in their work, lmfao.
Cheers Vincent - that worked (I used a plumber's wrench to loosen the lock nut and a hammer and screwdriver to tap the other thing around a bit).
Excellent video! Thank you!
Thanks for the "simple example "😁😊
thx dude my was pretty bad .
Thanks for your video brother
ONLY VIDEO ON CZcams THAT WORKS.
Thanks Brother
Thanks,I have a brand new bike and get a knocking sound when pedalling. It is always when the pedal/crank arm is in the same position. Your remedy is something for me to try.
did this work?
@@cafkn3664 yes I can confirm I just did it. All I did was clean out the bottom bracket and put it back together after that it stopped. Just make sure to tighten everything.
Hi....what a great video. I will try this when i visit my parents next week. My moms bike has this issue. Do i need to do this on the drive side too? If i do, is the procedure the same as this side? Anything i need to be careful of? Thank you so much
I've been searching CZcams but nothing addresses my issue, I pedal but the chain doesn't move.
Great video but my bottom bracket is a totally different because I have a khs .
Hi I have a shimano bb un300 square type bb can i use this method
Nope those are only to be replaced. Carefull the ring is aluminum so you really need a tool to remove it
Hi mate, completely random but can you tell me how I can stop plotting a matlab graph after a certain point?
you need to set limit parameters for your input variables if you're importing data and change/delete those that fall in the outlier range. The code could thus stay unchanged. Otherwise, you'll have to write a batch specifying the number and type of elements that you want to plot
For real though, if you did not have anyone within your circle of friends or family who understood the specific the problem in question, how did people even solve issues like this before the internet?
Books, manuals and we tried until it worked. Current times are making people dumb because you have everything compared to people 20 years ago even.
Mine won't even budge and i slammed the shit out of it with screw driver and hammer. Also mines a little different it doesn't have much grip on it.
Try using some wd40 and heat from a blow torch
@@VincentStevenson ok thanks il give it a try.
زقت معه ههههههههههههههههههههههههههه
Just a bunch of yakking and not actually demonstrating anything.
I understand he described it, but it really worked, this video was great help.
