You are a fabulous teacher. I’m totally new to Nomad Sculpt but you explain everything in an easy to understand way & exactly at the right pace. The only thing I struggled with was the lighting. Look forward to your next tutorial, keep them coming. 😊

J'ai réussie à faire tout le tuto! La partie lumière m'a fatiguée...Merci pour cet excellent cours ! Au suivant 😀
Lighting is tricky, but I love when I get to it, means the really hard parts are done! 💯🙌🏾

so master hahah no i learn like everything for this clip printing my first design right now but i gotha ask its printing it full infill is there a way to make the desing holow on the inside ? or do you have a vid where its in ? thx
You’d do that In the slicer software! 👍🏾
im trying to modelling my own character with this tutorial. when i finish, can i share with you ser.
GREAT AND THANK YOU... I have a question? if i send this final file from nomad sculpt to Chitubox (i use for the resin elegoo printer)...why the surface is not so smooth...do I have to do something before to print it out? thank you
You can definitely 3D print your sculpts! 💯🙌🏾
Dang. I keep missing your live videos
I've been super slow with the lives haha 🥴
Hello Dave ! Can you please tell what ipad screen protector film you are using ? Thank you !
I’m using a Paperlike brand screen protector! 👍🏾
Great tutorial … I have a quick question and can’t find an answer . In my scene window for adding and editing primitives, there is no option for voxel remeshing
. Is there something I need to do to add that option? The only options shown at the top of the little window are add , delete , clone, join, Boolean and instance
I think you have to validate in order to remesh. Before validating you can adjust the geometry of the primitive by pressing the little three dots… but to remesh something, it needs to be validated 👍🏾
nice tut . just subscribe :)
1 Question:
why do u need to bake it? what is the purpose of "Baking"?
It can bake in details/colors etc and be quite small, as opposed to having the larger file with dense details and information. Good if you have a really large scene with lots of elements that would make the size too massive otherwise!
thanks for the explanation :) @@drugfreedave
Everything has worked perfectly but once I got to the eyes my spheres are suddenly hallow
I know this is an older video now, but any idea why when I trim my shapes they are hollow? I feel like this wasn’t always the case, and now I can’t figure out what I changed 😂

@@drugfreedave You’re awesome! Thank you! Love the videos. I have learned a ton!
1:21:30 ill be back!
just note to self: im still at 37:00
ill be back lol

Merci !
Hey! When i click "array", i do not get the tool bar options with all the count x, count y, etc. I just have Array and Validate selected. Stuck on this part. Thanks!
Go into the scene (where the mesh) is and the array should be in red above it - try tapping on the red array and it should show up
@@drugfreedave that did the trick! AMAZING. THANKS
@@drugfreedave the pupils! even if i hit sym, they move together, instead of opposite directions.
There is a new menu on the left toolbar, might say “auto” when you’re using gizmo. Set it to vertex and see if that works!
@@drugfreedave TY SO MUCH!
How can I import the environment to nomad? I’ve bought your environment
Did you get it figure out? You click on the environment image in the lights panel!

This makes better sense than the first video with the fox head you did 😅 however I am still struggling with the whole backdrop thing, I highly doubt I will ever use that as it was confusing to me. I couldn’t line the two up together no matter how many times I tried.
I’d probs stick to more recent tutorials, as nomad changes a bit with each update, including some major changes in the most recent one! I also started using the program in 2021, so I’ve learned better ways to do things with each sculpt 👍🏾
Is it possible to express hair like a poodle???
Hmm, you’d have to think of a clever way to do it! 👍🏾

I wish I could help! You are able to see the closed captions at least, right?
@@drugfreedave Thank you for your reply! Although the translation function is not very clear to me, I will try to study by watching the video.
@@user-rr3rj2by4k ah yes, well at least you can see my hands and what I am doing! 🙌🏾 I appreciate you watching the videos and saying hello ! 😁😁
Bro, you gotta stop swallowing into the mic like that. It’s disturbing.
