My symptoms began 6 yrs ago after riding an amusement park ride. 24/7 swaying feeling. Other symptoms come and go like trouble walking due to painful hip joints, shortness of breath, headaches, vision changes etc. Had my 1st panic attack last week. I have been in PT for 5 Mos and it does help but I have learned recently that it's a nervous system deregulation so I'm researching trauma release and somatic tracking
Important to keep researching like I've been doing...and just found you and am listening and will clink on the suggested link. SO HAPPY you have recovered...no drugs though, not into drugs. I have had anxiety and panic over the years and also decided some months ago this did have something to do with anxiety...thanks much...enjoy your baby and stay recovered!
Thank you so much for the info. I am John from Wales UK still struggling with balance and dizziness not wanting to go out etc. still hoping to get better sometime
Every doctor I have had appts with thus far know nothing about 3 PD. I'm not giving up but doctors need to educate themselves on this condition. Just my two cents. On that note, thank you for the knowledgeable videos. Keep them coming!
Dear Emilee, just finished listening to your very informative link. Everything happens when it's supposed to so when I began listening, I had to laugh because just this morning, I was semi yelling at Yeshua telling him I need to get this fixed and now and here I am a few hours later, after He sent me to find you, looking forward to working to recover. I've been dizzy with balance issues over 8 years and as I listened my mind took me back to exactly when this all began. I was a rep. In fact the national sales rep for the entire company. I was hired for an enormous sum of money and far exceeded their goals until it was time to pay me...and they didn't and I fell apart. As time continued, I basically had to start my life over again and it's funny looking back how Yeshua has always been there to help me through whatever. I'm old enough to be your probably GREAT grandmother and thank God am healthy and now, with this simple but incredible direction, hopefully I too will recover in time and help others and there are, sadly many. Thank you dear...and I learned a lot from what you shared because I only accepted Yeshua into my life 7 years ago. It's a wonderful ride!
Thank tot so much for this! I have been diagnosed with PPPD but I am stuck in a cycle. They go up and down and it never stays consistent. I have been really in a deep dark depression. I do know this is a nervous system issue, it’s just hard to not react with fear when the symptoms are so horrific.

Hi Emily, i will join the fb group. Was just wondering. My main problem with the pppd still, is that i keep feeling these delay sensations when i liok around. walk etc. Its 24/7... it really scares me. I am checked my eyes are fine. Sometimes it feels like the floor is like a going treadmill..i just want to do what you are saying, no reaction on this...but am a lot afraid!!! Do you recognise the delay? And also that it stayed for such a long time? And...did this also recovered when you fonally recovered?😅🙏🙏
This was super informative! Did you ever notice symptoms worsening around the time of your cycle and also triggered by say caffeine/certain foods or alcohol? Did you avoid alcohol?
Caffeine and salt trigger my symptoms-like chips. 😵💫 The dizzy spells are few and far between but they randomly show up at times. Make me anxious but I do what I have to get through it and pray it doesn’t stick around for long.
I am diagnosed with PPPD, and my physiotherapist advised me to take 3 months off now from work during our virtual therapy which is every biweekly and just do some exercises that he gave me. And as of now, my symptoms are still there like fullness in my head, tinnitus, and anxiety. It is really hard to overcome especially since I am taking care of my 18 months old baby.😢
Wow!!! Are you having bad anxiety and/or panic alongside the PPPD? Are you in our Facebook community? I “waited it out” for several months and things only got worse for me. Once I got back to living my life alongside the severe symptoms and teaching my body that I am safe is when I finally saw progress. I have a free recovery guide in my FB group. I actually have birth during this and have 2 kids. I completely understand
Thanks for this video and the Guide. Suffering from PPPD for 5 yrs and any doctors in Germany that know about PPPD. Developed anxiety and panic attacks so diagnosis was that it is all in my head, means they stated it is psychological as MRT etc didn‘t show any defects. Just learned about PPPD 1 month ago via Steady Coach videos on CZcams. Do you have any advise on how to make my brain feel it is safe? Worst during Zoom meetings and in grocery store or shopping malls with moving people. Already do breathing exercises, meditation.
I've been dizzy with balance issue for over 8 years and just a few weeks ago discovered neuroplasticity and am searching to find out how to do it...The brain, like steady coach said, gets confused and basically takes over. The research I've found about this appears that we can use hypnosis to get the sub conscious to end it's takeover and restore it to us. Steady Coach is great...but checkout neuroplasticity on youtube too...A Dr. Huberman has many podcasts...what I'm searching for is a doctor or physical therapist here in Houston who helps teach us how to do it. Again, I think hypnosis is part of the answer...I've also had every test, MRI, CT scan twice including 2 weeks ago... other doctors...nothing wrong...somewhere in our life, our subconscious went into fight or flight and stayed there and we have to figure out how to stop it...I keep telling my subconscious that I AM IN CHARGE, it doesn't have any aughority anymore to control me UNLESS I ASK IT TO DO THAT... I am a certified hypnotherapist not practicing but there are terrific hypnotherapists on youtube (Marisa Peer.is one I just found)....don't give up...WE WILL WIN!
It started with DPDR for me as well. I had a club party before that day and after drinking alcohol and breaking up, it started with a mild DPR and it progressed to all the symptoms. Six months and counting. We got this guys we will recover.❤ also, may I know how symptom free are you these days? :)
Please do a Q&A on this symptom ...cause that's my big problem . Trying to remember that it's a symptom of anxiety ...I've had so many symptoms on and off through the years but this one is so different . Its relentless ..😢

Otherwise other symptoms are pretty under control. I just ignore other symptoms but vision is so scary can you have any vision related difficulty or if yes then how you cope with it
Did you have neck pain or back pain? I’ve gone through all the testing and vestibular therapy etc and thankfully nothing has ever been found. I do have a lot of back and neck pain though goes away with laying down along with most of the dizziness…

Hi Emily, i was wondering...did you also had visual issues? Like delay sensation...when you look at things, you see it right away, but like your brain is processing what it sees,a little bit later?🙏

The sensitized nervous system can feel overwhelmed when there's "too much" light, but it's important to respond to this just like any other symptom (use IDEAL, don't do the 5 Fs, etc.). As far as sunglasses in the video, it's mainly so I can look at my notes and not feel like I have to stare at the camera the whole time 😂
Yes! I definitely felt that. It was really hard for me when the sun would set and there was a difference in my visual atmosphere. Driving at night was really hard too! Check out my DPDR playlist because this specific symptom I would also lump into DPDR for sure
It's horrible I went for a walk the other day I was about 1 mile from the nearest road and it come on very strong but I made it home but not before finishing my walk
