- Basically if your motor has a disk brake attached to the gear case side, just inject those holes with grease and avoid having to disassemble the entire motor

First, let me salute you for being one of the few people other than me that also have a Rattan challenger E bike! I have over 2200 miles online and the rear hub motor finally gave out over a month ago and I replaced the whole wheel hub motor unit thanks to Ebikeling. even going from a 350W to a 500W and still having the pedal assist and throttle at once. I do not know where this hole is to inject grease, I don't want my new motor to burnout as well 'cause I believe that could have been part of the reason was not greasing it. I don't see any injection holes anywhere on these motors I have 2 Ebikes now, an Ancheer 500w so I don't get stuck without any mode of transportation like the last time my back wheel hub motor went out. I've looked all over both wheels and I see no injection holes whatsoever not even on the old 350W motor from my Rattan.
fyi, been putting about 10 miles a day 5 days a week on this, sometimes going up decent hills with 24 cans of soda in a backpack, so far so good, motor still working great (I'm on my second battery, i seem to wear one out in about a year)
Bro why did you not video when you syringed the grease inside the hub🤔
Great tip, thanks..!
Any troubles after injecting the grease since posting? Was there any improvements after injecting the grease? Want to try your method but worried I might put too much grease in. Great video.
I remove excess grease buildups that seem to squueze out through the bearings when changing a tire but it's like a little bit, seems to not be an issue for this motor, it is still working great. sorry i just saw your comment

Thanks for the response, I'm gonna give this a try.
I dont know about your bike but i just changed the free wheel gears on mine and those holes didnt go throught inside the motor, that for sure , you will need to open the motor to grease the gears.
were the gears on your motor on the cassette side?
Molykote 111?
Is not the chain the problem is your sifter
Adjust it properly will be fine
name of the grease? thanks.
the grease i used is molykote 44 medium grease, it was recommended to me for arcade parts ages ago but it works for a lot of stuff and i think its designed to use on small aircraft
It probably would’ve been best to just make an appointment at a local bike shop that works on a bike motors and have them grease it professionally.
