- The Lakers are now deep into the offseason and are still weighing their options on the trade market. One name Anthony can't stop thinking about: Zach LaVine. Is he now underrated? If you can get a pick for taking on his contract, you have to consider it, right?
Plus, he takes questions from the live audience.

Anthony: (@0:22) Nobody should be working...
Pelinka: Way ahead of you, bud...
Rob Bullshyttin…if LaVine is available he needs to make that move…I know the risk is injuries but shyt that’s everyone the guy wants to be there so he’ll buy in…he’s what the lakers need…3pt shooting and imaging him and Bron on the break…”SHOWTIME “ back in LA…and I like Caleb Martin
Bro i dont think i ever disagreed with you. Very adult basketball takes. My new favorite lakers channel. I hate the fanboy Laker channnels. Much respect you and your family 💯
Lebron & AD (2 Vets) Olympics will have a major impact on this season. Pelinka number 1 target should be a high utility scorer that can win you games when AD and/or Bron is out some nights (Grant, Lavine, Kuzma). Then fill in the roster with high end role players (AR, DLo, Vando, Rui, Gabe, Christie). There’s a space where both can happen if Lakers make calculated moves.
🤔🤔 The fact that Lakers looking for a 3rd scoring option signals that AR isn’t the answer correct…..? If AR was Lakers 3rd scoring option then Lakers would only be looking for trades to enhance spots 4-8 not Lavine, Grant, Kuzma or Cam. Interesting!
Not been a big fan of the past Trae Young rumors, but I'd rather get Trae than LaVine. Both are one-way players with similar salaries but Trae's been MUCH healthier. Less of a risk, younger, and easier to replace what you're likely sending out in D'Lo.
I dig the Lavine deal, TBH
The Bulls will not attach a pick to LaVine just to move him. They would take back contracts and low level 2nds, but no chance they're sending even a heavily protected pick to get out of the contract.
Anthony you have had Yossi (love Yossi' cap analysis) on I recommend having Ketih Smith on as well for Everything cap related. His cap knowledge is insane and hes anle to make it digestible. He would be great to have on the lounge. Smith and Trevor Lane do the "NBA Front Office Podcast" together
Let's get prepared for the same Ole tune. Oh we couldn't find the right deal. Pelinka already had his excuse, during JJ presser. It's hard to trade cause new CBA and we haven't found the right trade
We can’t trade with Chicago if they are an apron team.
Can someone tell me why the nbapa signed off on this cba cause it's brutal
I actually like this if it includes a pick
I’ve been saying this. This move would be better than Bruce brown, Jerami grant, Kuz ect. The rumors are saying he might come with a first round pick as well
No it wouldn't bro lol... U know if he gets hurt(which he always is) we're screwed right? Then we wouldn't be able yot rade him away and would officially end the Bron and ad era lol
Lake 🟣🟡 Show Trade Preferences:
1) Cam Johnson/Day’Ron Sharpe
2) Jerami Grant/Duop Reath
3) Kuzma
4) Dorian Finney-Smith/Day’Ron Sharpe
5) Zach LaVine
The more I think about this the less angry I am. We had a ton of injuries and still won 47 games. When was the last time we blew up a good team that had injuries?
Notice all this CBA sht complaining from lakers. But other teams seems not to have problem with trades
We should trade for Zack because we would have him for atleast 3 years at his current salary which is modest to what these guys are getting. Make that trade n get 1st rounder from then also. Bulls desperately to dump him. He desperately wants to play in LA
Agreed. I do not wanna do another D Lo Reaves year in the backcourt
What about miles bridges
I think the lakers should just blow it up and trade Lebron and Ad for picks and trade for Lavine to get an extra first rounder
Can't trade Bron Bron. No trade clause
@@smonefrmytb9768 should’ve done it before and gotten assets from the Knicks
Please anything but grant…anything!!
Jerami Grant would easily be the 3rd best player on the Lakers.
@@tmoney6475 yea age and fit matter..and his contact sucks….and in a couple years he won’t be there best player
Rui gabe jhs for grant not rui and vando
Screw them picks.
Agreed. Lakers don't need to make a trade for the sake of it. UNLESS we are able to get off of D-LO before the season without taking a step back. I don't care about any of these other lateral moves (i.e. Bruce Brown, Kuz) even if we're not getting off D-LO. To actually improve we need a credible 5 (i.e.not Grant) who can play 20 mins a game. That has to be THE priority. With all that said, I hear your case for Lavine which would save us from having a completely stagnant offseason. So hopefully Chicago gets real and the teams can make a move that works for both teams. I definitely don't hate it cpmpared to some of. the alternatives..
All these excuses Irwin saying
Dude lavine gets hurt EVERY YEAR.. imagine trading ur 3-6 guys for a #3 that barely plays lol horrible idea yhen guess what. CANT TRADE HIM NOBODY WANTS HIM now u just officially closed out the bron a.d era.. hell no !
Y’all are idiots when you say we should trade future assets. And yes, that includes the CZcams poster
Zach wants to be a laker remember Kobe said if I have to recruit your not built for the Lakers stop striking out and go get the guy who wants to wear the purple and gold your not losing your young guys or picks
No thanks on zach!
Anthony’s been drinking again
Every name he made excuses why lakers not making deals. Lakers fans should not attend laker games
Cuz we have no more choice
My idea for a trade is:
Lakers send BKN: D'Lo, Rui, JHS, Wood, & a (protected) 1st.
BKN sends LA: Cam Johnson, Day'Ron Sharpe, & Schroder.
Cam is a slight upgrade over Rui, Dennis is an upgrade over D'Lo on defense, & both are better fits w/ AD & LeBron. Sharpe is a big-body center prospect who can backup AD. LA also clears about $2M in salary & opens a roster spot.
BKN gets a draft pick, D'Lo & Wood's expiring contacts, a 21 yr. old young PG prospect, & Rui, who is younger than Cam & on a very moveable contract if they want to flip him later.
Don’t do a trade for the sake of doing a trade. Fit matters… and I think we all learned that with Westbrook.
Ew 😅
Maybe the Lakers wait until the trade deadline and package an expiring productive D’lo with two first rounders?
Deadline comes than don't do nothing like last year. Same sht we heard this off-season
Lakers fans think AR is better than Lavine 😭
Delusional Lakers fans really believe that and the organization is acting like it also
AR is no LaVine…
Exactly. This front office lied at the tradeline last year... Clearly
Lakers a trash organization. Fans all u gonna hear every year is excuses
Lavine is overrated and too expensive
Wagner just got 45 a year lavine is alright on that contract from what I see
Udk ball
@@geebee1527 trust homie. I called the Westbrick disaster long before he was traded and I got criticized just like you .
@@cristiannavarro8295 Westbrook was only a disaster because Pelinka kept THT over Caruso. That would have been a good backcourt duo. Lavine is a great shooter and finisher so not the same situation. Fits well with everyone
Hed fit perfect on the Lakers but it's way too risky. He's always hurt and it he gets hurt on the Lakers after we trade our 3-6 guys wed be screwed. Then u can't trade him away if it doesn't work and would literally end the Bron and a.d era lol
