+Sven Producties my guess is that the game developers never thought you would do "flat spin" (which means a stationary slide), while on that area maybe. or it could be because there is no animation for flat spin, and so the game crashes. i am going to test and see if this works in other slopes in LM and also see if it is possible in other places.
+Sven Producties only works on those stairs as they are the only one in the level.

I believe on the DSi it automatically says here we go, no matter if it's pal or not. and if you close the lid of the dsi right before mario speaks, leave it for about 5 sec and then it makes a vroom noise

I remember how much those loops in Rainbow Road used to rage. I was about to complete mirror mode special cup in first (because in the DS version stuff gets significantly harder than in others), and I got hit by a red shell while on the loop, fell upwards and got caught by Lakitu, putting me in last, and I then went on to try 15 more times to successfully beat Special Cup mirror mode.

there are so many 'glitches' that are not actual glitches. Glitches are unintentional featurs. Launching and terrain angles aren't unintentional. [clipping, incorrect 'back-warp' locations, on the other hand are]

As the first person to discover the GCN Yoshi Circuit lap count glitch (I have a video on it on my channel uploaded 1/26/2013) I would like to add that you actually don't need to fall off twice to get it to work. You simply need to fall off at the right angle the first time so Lakitu rescues you behind the finish line.

Because you literally can go out of bounds on DK's pass by going off the ramp

There a glitch(if so) at the crown cup (ps: you need a big character)(in bowser castle) in the stairs when going to the moving thing, use a mushrooms or your speed to push CPU off the thing(not the one before the finish line)(the one after the 2nd thwomp[ the spiral])(where the front of the moving platform is) if done correctly the CPU will be stuck. But there 2 thing will happen the CPU will fall off to the lava and continue racing, Or it will be stuck there.

My Mario Kart DS says 'here we go' at the start, and I beat the game. I never remember him saying 'yahoo' even before I beat the game. I think, though I'm not sure if I'm right, that Mario said 'yahoo' during the Beta version of Mario Kart DS.
I think that you have to get all the characters and vehicles first for the background to change. Or maybe it's localized.

i think this was the first ever glitch vault video, probably even the first ever glitch video i ever watch and i thought that something as stupid looking as DK's burnout spin glitch was incredible and i still come back to watch these older video for the fun of it because they're really good. I found a glitch in Mario Kart Wii:
Go on any course on Grand Prix gamemode with any character and drive backwards through the whole thing, after the COM Players complete the course (3 laps) turn around and drive in the right direction, when you pass the finish line you will see that you do not complete a lap, and the COM Players keep going. Have Fun!

Brody L because when you go back a lap it counts you as going -1 laps so when you go back through it it counts as putting you back 0 laps
+Brody L in grand prix when the CPUs finish, the race doesnt, and the reason you don't complete laps is because you drove backwards, which subtracts from the total laps complete.
