Heck no. Me, my bro and my sister played this on Christmas day the year it came out and the day we got it. We just found killing each other fucking hilarious and screamed BUBBLE every two seconds if one of us were falling to our deaths (Then occasionally we'd all fall an in shear panic we'd all bubble and the game would end...) xD I think this game brought us closer than apart xD

Immortal koopa glitch:
Requires 2 players.
Go to level 1-3.
Get a yoshi, then eat a koopa.
Then, do a double ground pound.
Spit the koopa out, and it is now immortal.
For infinite lives, freeze it and step on the frozen shell with yoshi.
It is immortal, so you just keep getting infinite lives.
You can experiment with this by adding more shells, so they crash into each other.
As far as I know, I am the only person who knows about this glitch.

I'd also like to add that the coin glitch can be broken even further by throwing another ice block at the coins. The coins and other ice block will move, but the koopa will still be doing the climbing animation. Also, it's possible in the glitch where one of the people goes into the wall and offscreen to actually get both players into the wall with enough patience.

The koopas clipping through the moving ice block is like that cause red koopas dont walk off edges.

I tried out the infinite coins glitch and it is awesome! I think what happens is that enemy animations freeze when you slap a fence, so instead of breaking and giving a coin that moves around, it stays intact and produces an endless shower of coins, and confuses the koopa into circling the ice block like a fence.
Cheating? I got my 99,999,950 points legitimately, thanmyouverymuch.

I used to play this with my two sisters. My little sister wasn't very good but still loved playing with us even though she got up to 200+ restarts.
She would always be blue toad and she talked in a high pitched Italian accent when she played him 😅. One day me and my other sister both bubbled, and it was all up to her. We were frantically telling her not to jump to the next platform and wait for us. She said ooOOOKaaAAAAEEYYY in her crazy Italian accent and cannonballed of the edge into the abyss 😂😂😂. We were cracking up.

Okay, so yeah. We have this game and it's a ton of fun. We are amlmost done with the game, as we beat bowser and are now collecting the star coins. BUT. we ran across a glitch that was not inculded in this video. So what you do is got to world four level four, make it to the spot where there is the HUGE purple fish (You need two players for the glitch to work). Within the two question blocks it includes a Powerup (Fire Flower) and the invincibilty star. The glitch allows you to DOUBLE the amount of lives you get when you kill the fish. First, you kill the fish with fire, then let the other player get an Invincibilty Star. Exit the tube then go back in before the star runs out. Let the second player hit the fish with the star and then shoot the fish's body with fire as it comes down. THEN, instead of three lives, it gives six.
That was some brilliant advice :P

One funny thing my brother and I experienced was in 1-6 (I think). I got to the flag pole, but he didn’t. When the game let me win, he literally landed DIRECTLY NEXT to the pole, and so he watched me win XD

As a kid I accidentally did the glitch at 6:00 with the sheel in world 2. And I was mind blown and it was a crazy time with 99 lives- until I lost them all again😂
it is one very easy glitch in W-8 Dash-5 were if you get the wierd train thing to far right of the screen were those birds show up, just duck and you will kill all the birds that comes to you. But it does not work on lava.
