thats true but i think this might be a hd remix or something everything looks way too smooth for some reason yet i ididnt see it saying hd remix so don't know why the graphics looks so polished
100% agree. And it was affordable. You could get $20 from your parents and spend all day at the arcade during school holidays. Now $20 hardly lasts 30 mins
I was maybe 9 or 10 at playing as Guile at Round Table pizza as a small crown gathered around and watched me beat the game and everyone cheered...felt like a king for a day 🤴😄
That version is the only one that matters in my heart. I could beat this game on a single coin back in the day. My mom had to call the manager to tell me it was dinner time otherwise I would still be there and playing it this day 😂 Great vid, I couldn't stop watching. Thanks!
Guile is basically the Game's Canon Protagonist, as he is the only one that has anything concerning Vega(Dictator or Bison) Chun Li has such an obscure storyline where she is under some kind of super soldier drug that made her superpowered. and we dont know where she got it from.
The trick with combos is to go from weak moves to medium then finish with a strong due to the frame recovery times. This gives you way less chance of being countered
I gotta admit, Guile used to be my fave character back in those days, but I never thought of using him the way this guy does, with the jabs and the mid kicks, super effective
@@Armando.Sepulveda Depends on how long those games were in development, which can be years. Metal Gear Solid 2 came out shortly after the 9/11/01 but didn’t reference the event even with the game’s events being in NYC. And there’s more examples similar to that

Guile is absolute the GOAT of SFII I often wonder if the programmers knew his true potential when they designed him because he's a class above everyone else, including Ryu.
Guile was always my favorite character but his winning line makes no sense at all: "Are you man enough to fight with me?" Well... yes, because they DID fight you. That always bothered me as a kid. HAD to be a mistranslation, I'm assuming it was meant to be: "You aren't man enough to fight me"
I used to cut school, catch a train ride to Sydney just to play this. It was like a tourney ever day. 😅 Guile's hidden freeze, elastic and invisible throw moves were OP.
Come on, let's see some invisible throws! On that note, I once did a Zangief freeze and once an E. Honda freeze. I have no idea how I did them, but they happened.
This version of SFII made Guile really way too powerful of a character. He had throwing object, two ground throws, two air throws and his famous flash kick that protected him from air attacks. They had to tone down his powers in future versions. They ramped up Ryu's powers in the next version making his hits count for more damage.

I don't care how realistic graphics get, this Era of gaming will always have the best graphics in my personal opinion.

ah.... 90s kids... Enjoy our simple life
Street Fighter 2 has the best music of any video game I can remember, so many of the different fighters stage music is legendary
Agree
Balrog's stage is the best in the game, but it isn't nearly as legendary as Guile's theme.
@@sickofitall8486 My favorite was guile’s and Blanka , Balrog was pretty good also

lol I'm assuming the manager ended up knowing you by name?
LOL I find it amusing how, even after he wins against Chun Li, he still says "are you man enough to fight with me?" 🤣
At 10:15 That was clean. Looked like double K.O. till Guile got up like a champ 💪🏆
Ahhh...the air back breaker & the air "sit your ass down" throw were favorites of mine when opponents were airborne, as Sagat tasted just now! 😆😆
Your smoothness with the combos are amazing! This is definitely entertaining to watch.
Arcade stick with turbo feature?let us know if you watching the comments please
I think Guile's ending is fantastic, for me it's the best of this timeless game.
Yes friend

Yeah... but letting Bison alive will never bring peace also

Man this player is an absolute savage 😳😳
Never seen an actual person that isnt the CPU play and pull off combos like that
That round 2 Balrog win was top skill.
12:07 Guile's mid-air body slam is one of the sickest moves in this game.
His flip kicks are legendary 😁😎
Always has been
So are his jab punches.
@@trustobey1016 unlike his latest voice in alpha 3
Very Nice Gameplay!🤌🏿💯👆🏿👏🏿🤜🏿🤛🏿
Was quite something when Chun li stops one right?! Never seen that I think
The face of Blanca when he gets hit or being dizzy kills me until this day
3:42 JCVD with his signature move used in the 1st round 👍👍👍💯💯🔥🔥
Guile asking Chun Li: are you man enough to fight with me?
😅
Best version due to Guile’s invisible throw, statue, and freeze
Hell yeah brother.
The statue in Vega stage.. practice invisible throws or elastic throws. Hehe
Some of these combos are brutal analyze and interpret

You have to ask yourself how Street Fighter lived on like it did with Mortal Kombat in arcades at the same time.
The music never gets old 🔈🔉🔊
And of course the game, too. All time classic.

In my time i was undefeated if i play with Ken or Ryu, superb memories -:)
same
I like that the fact that the first Fight is basically a Family dispute as Ken and Guile are Brother-In-Laws. their wives are both sisters.
Also the the image is so clean and crisp
3:11 When literal magical powers don't work to destroy a car, so you just have to smack it with your knee instead.
This game was like Evo everyday. Everyone just wanted to play that game in the arcades.

Guile's punches are the most satisfying normals to land.
I love playing Guile. That upside down kicked humble many a player.😂

That Bison finish…..chefs kiss.
The original street fighter was a low key game but when capcom released SF2 that was the game that revolutionized the whole 2 on 2 fighting Genre.
When I was a kid, I had a friend that would call him "Goolie". He really thought Guile was pronounced like that.
I thought I was the only one who thought that. I took it one step further and called him the Goolee Meister. 😂
My brother and me would call him that too 😂

Guile was literally unbeatable in this version of SF.
God damn your guile is wicked 😮😮😮😮👍👍😀

That perfect on M. Bison!
For Vega wall climb stand in the center then move left or right and jump diagonal backwards and heavy kick. Hits every time.
