  • Welcome to the X2 build series. Throughout this series I’ll be building The Edge Products X2 two seater buggy. It’ll be powered by a turbo 3 cylinder Yamaha Nytro snowmobile engine. As you can probably tell, I’ve got a lot of work to do on improving the videos. Drop all feedback in the comments and let me know what I could do better. If you like the content please leave a like. Thanks!

No, they are real cheap on edge’s website. See the link in my description.

Loose the fancy tools. Instead of 'squaring' the frame, it appears that you are trying to flush the frame, that is ensure that all the pieces are in the same plane. A much simpler & more precise method would be to simply eyeball it from ends & sides while shimming from floor (light travels in a much straighter line than a braided cord, & you avoid the complication of thickness), that is, after you first square the frame. This means assuring that the plan angles match the design specifications. That is square (perpendicular) where called for, etc. Try looking up the terms in a quality dictionary. Surprising to me how the language is often tortured in instructional videos. But hey -- lots of the old timers wix their mords too -- just makes things confusing !!
