When the helicopters saved them at night, my wife said, "Kill the bastards!" I often watch this movie on Netflix & every time Eric Bananas blows that militia leader, Mo'Alim, to smithereens I feel like shouting, "What, BITCH!?!?" I also like that scene because by this time Mo'Alim feels like the main villain, even though he has a superior, because Mo'Alim ordered the shot that took down the first Black Hawk. And by simply watching Eric Apples get on the 50 earlier, choke those guys here, then blow up Mo'Alim, Eric Oranges feels to me like he's the Snake Eyes to the Rangers & Delta G.I. Joe. This whole movie is like G.I. Joe but in real life. Another thing: Noam Chomsky has pointed out that it's strange that we name our attack helicopters after the people we've conquered; Black Hawk; Comanche; Apache. Wouldn't it be weird if Mexico built an attack helicopter & named it the Aztec? Or if Guatemala did the same & named it the Maya? Or if Peru did the same & named it the Inca? It's almost comedic. Lastly, if you wanna watch this movie & just skip to the action, start at 35 minutes in & stop when Eric Grapes arrives at the stadium & some guards bring them water. Cheers.
