You don't have to do the whole video in one clean take. Ok, I'll start and stay with making videos and growing my channel. Your content is great. Your humanity and good will are even better. Cheers my friend!

Happiness and success are highly personal terms, and yet, so many people allow others to influence these concepts (I'll be happy after I'm successful enough to buy x).When really at the end of the day we should be taking the time spent trying to please others and putting it towards figuring out who we are and what we believe

    1. Understand the happiness equation
    > happiness + positive mindset → success
    > waiting to be happy limits our potential
    > meditation, smth to look forward to (the anticipation), being kind, exercise, signature character strength
    2. The fulcrum & the lever
    > BOTH our power/potential and our mindset are important
    > our mindset shapes the world around us
    3. The tetris effect
    > negative tetris effect: the tendency to finding negative patterns
    > positive tetris effect: looking for opportunities
    > it is possible to change it: write down 3 things you are greatful for daily
    4. Falling up. Turn your failures into learning opportunities
    5. The social support network. Our social support can prove the difference between succumbing to the cult of the average and achieving our fullest potential

you know most of that is just hard work? Sure you need decent genes to succeed, but then it's just reading tons of books all the time, and making those small decisions all the time like, I will have a decent sleep/eating pattern, exercise a bit, learn new things all the time and work on my career so it's not some horrible dead-end street. Most people who complain they can't keep up with Ali, I guess they just do none of the above but spend their whole life on Netflix, FB and such. Sometimes you just need to make yourself do stuff if you don't wanna be a couch potato whole life. And then things don't seem that horribly out of our reach/understanding anymore. But it's years of good habits

L K well i guess it depends what you want to get out of your life. Some people want to be successful and productive, others want to do as many sports as possible while others prefer the party and Netflix life. And the only thing that matters is that you have chosen the reicht path for yourself. I‘ve spent 7 years travelling the world for example. I currently live in Australia even though I am from Germany. As a German I love to be productive. Many thoughts and things he shares I‘ve actually experienced and learned along the way. No, you don‘t need to read 1000000 books in your life, you actually need to get a life and live a life. So no, I don‘t think there is anything wrong with him wanting to be as productive as possible. He just sees the value and opportunities that come with an existence on earth.

Just finished the book. Amazing stuff.
One thing that was omitted was the 20 second rule and its correlation with growing habits. He says basically that to grow habits we have to do them consistently. But that's difficult as many times we start something then stop.
    His solution:
    The 20 second principle.
In short, the habit that you're trying to form should take no more than 20 seconds to get started. So if it's reading more books, then put the book right on front of you not hidden away somewhere where it'll take more time to get it out. On the reverse, things that stop you from taking on good habits (e.g tv) then make it such that it takes more than 20 seconds to access it e.g by removing batteries

This is the first time that I watch this video till the very end, and I am very grateful for the bloopers being included cause now I don't feel so bad about having so many takes on my own videos, definitely related to him reading the script again hahaha

Ali you are so true. A book always inspire how to grow and how to believe in yourself. Once I started my channel I felt very down. But I but I started reading some books of your suggestion. And found really super amazing impact on my life.

Ali I LOVE this series! I appreciate you recommending books that aren’t already all over CZcams. I’m half way through Make Time and I’ve found it incredibly useful. Currently also reading Mindset by Carol Dweck. If you haven’t read it, i highly recommend it.
