  • A brand new 2013 build and assembly video! We do another "dry fit" video on the new DBT4 FWD Trike. We explore the wheel hub and some of the steering details. Part Two of the dry fit assembly videos on the FWD trikes being hand crafted. We raced the new front wheel drive prototype at the 2013 HPV Race America event velodrome in February 2013 and generated a lot of buzz at the 2013 Catrike Rally! We have been working on new "production" units this year, so stay tuned!
We've been getting a lot of subscribers lately and these new videos should build some excitement of what's to come. Save these videos as they'll be part of the owners manual!

David Bruce Hi David, I sent you an email earlier this week - the same day I commented, and did not receive a response. Hope all is well with you and that extreme weather that way.

I have seen the all the videos of the FWDTrike build for some years now. Very impressive craftmanship. Was looking your videos also for ideas and how other people solved the different problems of the build. I am in a problem my self. Ive build some prototypes and came now to a crossroad. Offset/rake or not. I believe im going to make with the offset.
Offset/Rake yes or no ? for a Tilting tricycle recumbent

Outstanding work, May I ask you if this is one of the models that have the "elastomer compression suspension?

Yep you can start a business. Or simplify the design I guess. Have fun man!

Smart people make complicated processes simple. Smarter people make them so complicated that it gets stupid. Like city servants or other government agents 😈

+Frank Goossens I fail to see your simpler design, where is it?
Oh that's right, you don't have one! LOL!!!

I guess these never went into production. The website is defunct.

Do you recommend or have experimented with any internal geared hubs or cranks? Secondly - did you purchase your jig setup table? If so who manufactures it?

I've never seen anyone use a pin as a key. This doesn't seem to be a good idea.

Beautiful but impractical for most people.
