For those that don't know:
Giant Kozaky's effect is that if there's no Kozaky on either side of the field, the card is destroyed and the current controller of the card takes damage equal to its original ATK (so, 2500).

See, what tripped me up is I'd do the math beforehand and think the damage from Giant Kozaky wouldn't be enough because they'd also get life points back from Burning Algae. Didn't realize the damage from Kozaky would come first

Due to Yu-Gi-Oh! rulings, the effects activate in reverse order, with Kozaky's effect activating first.
Yes, this is a common mistake that people make. You're far from the only one that's been tricked by this one.

After a turn or two the game forces you to surrender. And you don't even seem to have a normal hand. They start you out with like 3 or 4 cards in your hand. Oh and once they completely redid my deck for match. I couldn't even use my own deck.

+Mark Bell This is a Timed Duel (basically a puzzle) and you only have 1 turn to win, using set cards/LP.
Normally, you start with 8000 LP and 5 cards.
