Back in 2002 i had SPL170 in big vented box. It was very impressive in sound quality and pressure in small japanese car.

my uncle just gave me his Soundstream SPL 12, and a rockford fosgate punch 200.2 , currently installing it now, cant wait to hear them
You can tell that they sound so controlled and clear. I miss this level of quality

Let me know if you would ever part ways with your 170s .. been looking for a bit . My old school SS build is almost complete .Looking for 170s/ exact subs and components .
