Video of my pair of extremely rare SP subs. Honestly at first only thought 💭 these were a rumor to be actually produced as I only knew of there amps. Finally finished my LED upgrade this took longer then expected as I went threw many different types of bulbs from many different manufacturers. I’m super stoked how it finally play out next stage paint and body so the wrap job can start. Will post more videos after the job completed ☑️ stay tuned and Thanks for watching.

Ya back in day when Alpine offered these 1st generation subwoofer 🔊 they sounded incredible had such a great mix of sound quality and SPL.

what amp and final impedance at the amp?
I was using my Zuki eleets mono amp stable 1 ohm the subs are wired in series 4 ohm and then parallel to the amp.

Some of the best sq subs ever made the big infinity amp at the time sounded great also i had infinity k1200 that did way over rated.

Thats because subs were made efficient with just 2 inch coils. Now they make overbuilt subs with low efficiency and you have to throw gobs of power to hear anything. They need to go back to making subs more efficient.

I’m still a fan of the original stroker subs.
Those subs are meant for an Infinite Baffle enclosure or a sealed enclosure. Trust me, you'll get louder bass and better bass response with these in a sealed box or in Infinite Baffle.
That is the only amp I want.

I'm a big fan of Cerwin Vega! Can you please go into detail about how these sound, in person, in those custom boxes? Is there a lot of port noise, do they hit pretty low, so on and so forth.
Ya so these came out in late 80’s I wanna say 87 or 88. The XL series actually took over these models they pretty much have the same parameters except with XL the power rating was increased. Sensitivity specs and box specs stayed the same. Sound wise in these custom boxes sound pretty detailed and can handle the lows pretty well each box is over 7 cubes and tuned 34hz so far every type of music 🎶 I’ve played not much port noise.
I've heard this setup in person and can confirm they are pretty buttery for being an accordion surround type driver. Insanely efficient.
Sorry for the late response but I appreciate you going out of your way to inform me on these. Now for the boxes to be tuned at 34hz, being 7 cubes, and not much port noise?… I’m sold! lol

That one I believe can after this model which makes it a 2nd generation. If not mistaken 154 came out in like 2002 while Stroker pro was a couple years after like in 2005.
15k lol that max power of course it's only 7500 rms so why would you put more then over 7 to them in less you want to blow them. Only someone that no nothing about stereo would do that.🤔👍✌️💯
Honestly I wouldn’t put anything more then 10k probably. My build will consist of 3 of them and probably wouldn’t need more than 7K tops
