We wrap a hvac aluminum foil tape around the end that the hose clamp goes around, prevents tearing get hot but no problems so far.. We used gorilla tape as well...Just trying the foil this year..

That dusting actually melted with my 5KW heater so mine must run alot hotter. I use an adapter to 4" hose and use aluminum flex tubing now.

I tryed a cheap heater, it basically started on fire after 20 minutes... then went with a name brand.... installed about 8 times, having problems along the way.... used the old mrbuddy heater all winter again... finally got sent the right wiring harness and it seems to be working.... too bad its hot out and i cant really test it 😂 at least everything is on the truck now, gonna make a build video tomorrow finally. Hopefully ill get to use it in april in the mountain's...

Why the 4” ducting when the system was designed for 3” ducting?

That exhaust needs to be pointed downward to drain. Just saying
