  • noticed oil leaks going onto the exhaust, then found out that it was leaking from the back of the engine, precisely from the valve cover gasket. here is the process i went through to change it.

Please. Can you direct me to the location of the oil evaporator sensor? Please. My car is a 316i model, year of manufacture 2003. When I start the engine, water and white smoke come out. Thank you.

hi, that might be your valve steam seals that its causing the smoke on start up, that used to happen to my car. because the seals might not be doing their job of sealing, so the oil will find their way in through the intake valves and cause the smoke.

@@handynate can you also tell me is gasket like ruber or hard material?

@pericuros7659 the gasket is rubber. if your old one is hard when you remove it, that that’s a sign that it was due replacement
