- Happy Friday Everyone!
Here I go again talking about the weather. If you're like me, you know the importance of good weather. Obviously, "good weather" is a very personalized opinion since good weather to me may not be ideal for you. I love the weather here in the Silver Coast of Portugal because, to me, it's the perfect temperature for most outdoor activities.
With that being said, it's not always sunny and beautiful. Since I live close to the beach, we do get the wonderful sea mist and humidity that comes along with that package. This past week was the perfect example.
If you know me, I love waking up to the sun. It's like a natural alarm clock for me. However, now that it's the fall, waking up to foggy sea mist is "normal". So I wanted to share with you what that means in this video. Don't worry, the mist does go away around 10am and then the sun comes out.
Anywho, let me stop talking about the weather and talk about other things in life haha. This video is another vlog where I share what a typical Friday is for me. So come along for the ride!
People have also asked me about my private tutor. Unfortunately, her schedule is full between teaching PLNM in the public school and her current clients. Once she has more availability, I will share her contact information.

Portions are huge here, but what I do is mainly order fish and I always substitute potatoes for veggies and salad only! No bread...Unless they offer bolo do caco or something like that!! You definitely have to watch it!! So, a cut and color for 76€ might be a little expensive in Portugal, but I paid way more in France and the US!! All of the services are such a treat and so reasonable...I love manicures, pedicures and facials as well...Portugal is great for all of the pampering!!! Great menu for Friday night movies!!

Hi Josie. We have our first scouting trip coming up next month! As a fellow Asian, can you tell me if there are Asian grocery stores nearby? I’d hate to have to fly somewhere just to buy fish sauce 😅
Great question. You can find fish sauce everywhere (specifically the Squid brand). For a wider selection, I go to Lisbon quarterly to stock up on my Asian essentials. The main Asian store I go to is Amanhecer. However, I can find a lot of basics here in Caldas.

Hey, I’m interested in going to them for the type of balayage colouring that you had last time, can you remember how much you paid for that? And so you speak with them in English or Portuguese? I don’t think my Portuguese is good enough for the hair dresser yet! 😅
I believe I paid roughly 140 for cut and balayage for the first time and after it was 120. My stylist doesn’t speak English, but there are other staff members who do.

Hello Patricia, check video from May 11 (My new house). It was custom made from My Way Design in Porto.
I used My Way Design in Porto. I told them what kind of couch I wanted and they custom made it. What is nice is that I was able to choose the material too (they have a design shop full of fabrics to choose from). The price was actually quite reasonable for custom made furniture
