- Anemia and Skin Findings (along with Nail Changes and Mouth Sores)
Anemia is a condition of low red blood cells (as indicated by low hemoglobin or low hematocrit) that is caused by a wide variety of conditions, including hemolysis, hemorrhage and nutritional deficiencies. The low amount of red blood cells can lead to certain skin findings, and other important causes of anemia can also cause important findings on the skin, nails and mouth. In this lesson, we discuss the more common skin findings that we can see in anemia.

Would Keratosis Pilaris be considered a maculopapular rash? I've struggled with KP for years, and I've always told my doctor's that it itches. They tell me KP shouldn't itch? I wonder if my KP is from an underlying vitamin deficiency.
It does itch
Thank you have you made a video on B12 deficiency already?
He did that yesterday:)
Multiple ones, lol.
I have the very pale under eyelids. All my iron levels are normal, but my ferritin is low. I have several of these symptoms, so I'm now taking iron supplements.
