Yes, Matt’s smile can reach right through the lens & make the viewer smile! He’s pure joy! In the BTS he’s said it’s hard to keep a straight face like in Havana or Making Christmas’s spooky side. That’s a great question for Ben: How do they pick pieces of songs & figure out where to join them in a medley? It’s freaking flawless!!!
Yes! Good question! I’ve always wondered that. Like does each member film the whole song separately then an editor or someone takes shots from each member’s take and combines them? Must be hard because they’d have to get the timing right to sync up the audio and visual. I hope I worded that correctly and made sense 🤔🤣
I thought Matt was great when I first saw this, but now I realize that his voice progressed a lot already. Love to see Matt singing and I'm curious of his further progression in the future...
This one and Evolution of Ariana Grande are my favorite Evolution videos. And I'm not even a huge fan of either artist but PTX always manages to make me love the music anyway. Matt has an incredible smile. It's infectious! You just can't help but smile when he does. 😍

There’s something about Mitch’s voice that makes it SO perfect for Rihanna songs 😍 I feel like their voices share some sort of special quality that i can’t name because i have neither the knowledge nor the vocabulary to put it into words - but it‘s there, at least for my clueless ears.

Just a little story for you. When they released this, I got to go to a live concert the next week. It was just as good live on stage as it was in this recording.
I heard this live before the video was released. My husband, who bought the tickets for my birthday, had no idea what was being sung. They also sang an original, and he asked who they were covering.
The evolution videos are all one takes. If there's a screw up, they start over.
