Tim Blake Nelson is one of those Character Actors that is just a solid pick no matter what movie or show he's in. He looks like a goofy dude fitting for a comedy script but when drama is concerned he delivers 10/10.
0.2 seconds 6 rounds this dude can reload 120 rounds per minute i mean more than that maybe 620 rounds?
For sure
@@justanotherfella4585 its not 2 seconds per round its 0.2 seconds lol
@Jordan ????? its a movie not real life and i belive that if video recordfing exist then there will be no colours
Time Blake Nelson's a fantastic actor. I wonder if he got this role because he did The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.
the scene when he retrieved the gun from the holster and went full wild west on the gang was so badass
Not as badass as the way John Wick retrieves his weapons from the cemented floor.
@@gohjohan it depend on movie budget

"wild west".. aww yes that word,, every time I hear this, i enter a different world full with imagination 😌
Reminded me of the scene in Unforgiven when William Munny started drinking and getting info about where his friend Ned is, while the Scofield Kid gives him his gun ...
I didn't know Buster Scruggs was Billy the Kid!! Man this guy can probably shoot in real life having scored two gunslinger roles.
Totally what I was thinking and saw this comment immediately.... Damn my phone is spying on me again

Great
I didn't know "Buster Scruggs" had some legend to his name. Is it still on Netflix?
He did some training. Also trained for all those gun tricks for buster scruggs
Me too did not knew untill I read ur comment
That old cowboy ain’t just anybody friend. I nearly cried from happiness when he reveals his identity. Having been a fan of cowboys and outlaws as a kid this one was good.
i missed the part where he reloads in 0.2 seconds instantly killing 30 cowboys
The video creator was playing Red Dead Redemption 2 and got it messed up.
Understandably, it happened very fast.
It's Hollywood, reloading isn't necessary.

Another clue was that he spoke Spanish. Billy grew up with Mexicans and Native Americans who though him Spanish and grew up wild. In his teen years he rode with other Mexican out law kids before becoming the outlaw that he was famous for being. He had also run away to Mexico a few times when he was running from the law
Doesn't he only speak Spanish after the big reviel?
@@darth_wager Billy was from Five Points New York City, Mom and step dad moved out west when he was still a boy, left home as soon as he was big enough to ride a horse

Excellent film. As always, Tim Blake Nelson is excellent, he is really good... All mannerisms, the haircut, the lazy eye, the way he delivers the lines, the way he moves... I haven't seen a western so well made for years...
Wow.... Buster Scruggs really cleaned himself up after this.
Damn, was thinking about the same :)
If you haven’t seen Old Henry then give it a look at. A really great movie and solid all round performances. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a really good movie. Not big, not flashy. Just well told and well acted.
This movie was way better than I expected it to be
I dont know why, but something about the background music Movie Recaps uses is just perfect.

And he sings and dances too. Buster Scruggs is legendary.
If only John learned how to reload instantly...
Was a bit of a slow burn but one of my top 5 westerns. The ending is kind of perfect.
Nice detail of Henry reloading the revolver before using it,probably due to the heat from the gun powder or/and the weird smell of a revolver being used before
yeah if its black powder itl have a smell a real noticable one aswell as a soot residue.
The video literally says that
Not exactly.... if a gun's been recently fired, revolver or not, blackpowder or not, you can usually notice, as the gun is hot, has finger marks, or the smell of powder. Stronger with blackpowder. ANY gun can be hot. Of all the good stuff about the film that's not particularly good, I don't think if they never showed reloading that the film would be worth watching. That's a low bar to set.
@@SStupendous I don't think him smelling the gun had anything to do with reloading, just that he knew his kid fired the gun recently.

Civil War PTSD. Trying farming just can’t relieve it.
Apparently they didn't have cell phones with games back in those days, so farming was their version of Plants vs. Zombies. Shooting a bunch of bad guys in the front yard was their Call of Duty as well.

@@stephenryder1995 Have you seen a picture of Henry McCarty?
@@LetsGoFlyers2011 in the 60 years I've been studyiing young Henry, I've seen numerous photos, but only the one awful picture we've all seen is confirmed.
His height and weight are well documented, however. The authorites wrote it on the one and only authentic Wanted poster, and a doctor that knew him well spoke often of the boy's physical appearance.
So did a lot of other people. Billy The Kid was a very little guy, he was indeed a "kid" to the day he died - he'd never had to shave. Its also more than likely he died a virgin - and that's somethingn no one ever mentions.
For while he was always popular with the Mexican girls - his popularity was based on his ability to dance, sing, whiste and play the piano. And his well-known "courteous" and "respectful" treatment of all females. doesn't exactly sound like a typical male teenager on the make, does it?
In actual history, these legends just snuck up on their victims and shot them. These myths are entertaining yet still remain myths.
Not really. Many of them were actual amazing shots. Billy the kid wasn't one of those. He was just quick on his feet and tricked people.
You give other animals a chance to potentially kill you? Odd.
That’s not at all true, Billy the Kid was a legendary shot with his Henry rifle.
Pardon, he was a legendary shot with his ‘73 Winchester. Not a Henry. But nevertheless he was a mean shot with a lever gun.
Actual history. These legends aren't just myths. Their real.
Otherwise the names like Billy the kid or Jesse James and many others especially Johnny Ringo or Doc Holiday wouldn't be mentioned either.
Doc Holiday possibly one of the best gunslinger during his time, only issue was him suffering bad lungs from tuberculosis.

one of the best modern westerns.
To be honest that was an very unexpected twist
I watched the movie right after seeing this (I quit in the middle of the video so I didn't spoil all of it). Damn good flick! Tim Blake Nelson is one hell of an actor. My man put all points in quick reload
4.5/5 best movie of 2021 hands down. Amazing movie.
This is a great movie. I've watched twice and watch trailers when they come up on CZcams. There are so many senerios about Billy the Kid, as to just what happened to him. It appears that Pat Garrett shot the wrong outlaw in the shoot out and Billy got a way. There is one story about a man named Bushy Bill, that admitted in his later years that he was the kid.
The guy who proclaimed he was Billy the Kid called himself Brushy Bill was outed as a phoney some years ago through DNA. He was an interesting character though.
Brushy Bill Roberts tried to petition the Governor of New Mexico for a pardon claiming himself to be Billy the Kid. The person in Billy’s grave does not fit the description of the actual “kid”. Pat and Billy were friends so I think Pat killed some random crook and placed him as Billy to let him get away
@bastiat yes it may be a myth that Billy was not killed by Pat but it makes a great what if scenario like the myth that Frank James disappeared and resurfaced as Henry Ford.
CLAIMED he was Builly - a claim subsequently proven totally false
@bastiat I heard this one from the old folks who were teenagers or heard it from people of that time, I think it’s more conspiracy theories but back then people had a knack of changing their names to avoid certain outcomes
I love this movie man...it was good!
Wat was the name of it

@@aaahhh1180 My point was that if you ever lived on a farm you could get why someone could think "Nah, this isn't for me." It was obvious. You've thought I said something completely different from what I said.
