Before he was the world-famous mime Marcel Marceau, he was Marcel Mangel, an aspiring Jewish actor who joined the French Resistance to save the lives of thousands of children orphaned at the hands of the Nazis. Jesse Eisenberg stars in this compelling drama about a group of unsung heroes who put themselves in harm’s way to rise above hatred and oppression during World War II. As a young man growing up in Nazi-occupied Europe, Marcel has no intention of getting involved in the war - his pursuits include impersonating Charlie Chaplin in burlesque clubs, painting backdrops for his plays, and antagonizing his obstinate father. Matthias was truly amazing in this movie. He embodied the evilness of the Butcher of Lyons so well that I got scared every single time he was on screen. Amazing actor.

What a fabulous story and a beautiful cast who have not warranted the criticisms I have read - why did I not know this story before? I am sorry, but I am not bothered whether the mime technique was perfect or not - this is the must see for this year for me

You mean hans landa? In my opion those SS in movie inglourious basterds they're just a clown. Don't take it seriously i know it just movie also not really good movie for me.
But yeah Christopher waltz could be the best actor in this movie
He's a fantastic actor but looks nothing like Barbie.
