Community needs more of this. Yea most people don’t like CVs but there is a dedicated portion of us that do play them on a regular basis and need to continue to learn with them.
Fun fact: LT CV don't pen their own decks with the bombs, so most you can get is fires, hence why it is better to atack them with torps. Demo is an excellent CV player. Wonderfull game !

I’ve played all the carrier tier iii, and got 3 countries to tier V, but miles away from this… looks good. I like how tactics have to change between tier iii and V with a barrage of AAs and then fighters. But not figured out what I’m supposed to do with Implacable extra consumable dodge thing. I typically find everyone bunches at the start, making flying nearby impossible. And some matches - often cruisers - have insane long range AA. The Ryujo planes shred in a second. Destroyers are hard to hit with HE and torp’s if they’re watching radar. But the skip bomb is much easier - yet I find the torp of the Serov incredibly slow… in fact I normally have to lead my targets way more than this video. That’s swooping in full throttle too.
When I started playing carriers when they came out I had an unusual game in a tier 3 with a one DD and one carrier on each team (someone turned cross play off ugh) We won the game, I spotted both ships, I capped one of the 3 bases on my own and sank both ships whilst doing all the damage. The only thing the DD did on my team was cap two bases. I got 1800 XP (base XP) and the DD on my team got 1400 XP(base XP) I know capping bases rewards good XP but capping two bases had zero battle impact for that game.

One has been playing for a few years and the other a little less. i started 3 months ago and i always outlast them and there is little to no team work. I try to explain how team orriented this game is or should be. Finally my one friend is catching on but i spent the time to pump the pobeda to max as i opted to be the carrier player when needed. Anyhow, thanks for the great info man. you are great at this game. i look forward to learning and watching more.

I think I’ve made this comment on at least 10 different cc CZcams pages. Much of the poor aircraft carrier and destroyer play we see in this game can easily be explained by players, treating it as a historical simulation instead of a video game. Historically speaking that player is correct an aircraft carrier’s primary target are the enemy aircraft carriers and or capital ships. The similar case can be made for historical versus video gameplay for destroyers. We just need to find a way to get new players to understand this is not historical simulation and is instead of video game with very different tactics.
They might be fairly balanced, but I think there is some sort of programming that makes a player more susceptible to flooding from carrier torps after they’ve damage conned lol. It happens to me every time I’m in a battleship, 3 fires, DC, flood from carrier lol.
How do you record videos that you make that arent on stream because i really wish i had been able to record a game i had in the des moines where i put up 330k and 4.9k xp
@Where RU A A RON lol, all damage records are a perfect concoction of the other 17 players all being just good enough to not all die too fast, but not kill enemies too fast, and give that 1 player the best opportunities, and he capitalizes..... Alot of the HE spammers, dd, and cv damage records, are only possible if you just happen to be in the right place at the right time, AND you get the perma flood/fires, hoping and praying someone isn't using fight fire with fire and your teammates just keep spamming HE not caring at all lol
Once upon a time I hated carrier's too, them I begin to play them, now i hate myself 🤣 still great game and good overall play on the CV, spotting, target selection, moving the carrier forward (is that allowed?), etc 👌🏻
Great game by Demo definitely. 👍🏼 I just gotta say I don't see every carrier as balanced. Usually against an Ark Royal or Saipan it's really annoying for me. Last time played in a Scharnhorst and the enemy Ark Royal got flooding after flooding after flooding on me. I'm not exaggerating. Every torpedo attack granted him a flooding and that's simply ridiculous. I also had my division mate with me in his Öland with strong AA. Together we shot down 40+ planes, but still this dude came over again and again. I believe it's too many fires and floods and this game.
Nice game stats. But this is the exact reason I don't play WOWSL very much anymore. The oppression was tremendous. I know I've said it 1000 times but when a ship doesn't have to risk damage to affect the games outcome something is wrong. Again nice game but I do not enjoy trying to kill planes in a game about sinking boats.
This Carrier is Worse then a T7 Carrier And the Torp Lineup Time is Attrocious... 300k dmg nice but that Carrier Sucks.... i rather take a Kaga or Shokaku then that Shit....
That would be so insanely boring to just have 9vs. 9 of bow tanking battleships, CVs are annoying but balanced in the Legends version of the game. Adapt and overcome

Be like knights of old fighting, not knights vs a modern solider with a rocket launcher. Plus CV are the reason BB are now useless in this game and in WW2. So FACTS. pure BB mode would be the most played.
Reason I didn’t use the Bombs on Hakuryu at the end there was because Hakuryu deck shatters the bombs

I like watching fantastic carrier play moving into power positions being being able to rapid drop not being afraid to utilize HP much respect to demo

That's a great idea man but unfortunately it will most likely never happen due to WG not wanting to "gate keep" players

It's unfortunately just RNG, player to player game to game. it feels like its out to get you sometimes but its just random madness

you save those planes, instead of getting entire squadrons shot down they start returning to the CV and are ready for the next strike
