- I visited Harvard University over my spring break and met with Daniel Davis, who showed me 6 incredible natural science demonstrations which you can learn in-depth about on his department's website!

It really is an invaluable resource you all have access to. I hope you enjoyed the video!
Thanks again, Daniel!

Eternal flame (Theory):
Hydrogen, which is less dense than air, leaks out of the hole at the top of the copper vessel. The flame initially burns gently like a candle because at first there isn't enough oxygen within to combust, so only the hydrogen emerging from the tip burns. As the hydrogen in the vessel is used up by the flame and the pressure in the vessel drops, air is pushed into the vessel from the bottom to equilibrate the pressure, and the ratio of air to hydrogen increases until the stoichiometric ratio is reached, at which point the gas mixture in the vessel explodes.
The tiny hole at the top acts like a closed end, while the other end of the vessel is open. Like a bottle that makes a sound when you blow across the top, the vessel has a characteristic "resonant" frequency that is inversely related to the (square root) of the density of the gas mixture within.
This is why the audible frequency drops over time: the density of the gas in the vessel is increasing and therefore decreasing the resonant frequency of the vessel. This means that your ears are technically acting as a crude air:fuel ratio sensor! Fun fact: The starting frequency of the siren was a C note at 440 Hz and an A at 260 Hz right before the explosion.

Asking USC Parents What They Do For a Living - Charlie Chang is what got me to this video! Your parents were interviewed and are very proud of what your doing! Your father stated you switched to a major in chemistry, helping show others science can be fun! Then your mother gave the channel a shout-out so I had to check it out! I have browsed some of your videos and think the ones on plasma are my next stop! Keep uploading awsome content!
Subscribed :)
Me too
Lol same, it is cute to see how supportive and lovely his parents are. It is great to see their son have a passion which is science!
Same!!!! Hello! Keep up the good work!
Came from Charlie Chang's video as well, subscribing now! Keep it up
Your parents are so proud of you, and us strangers too! Keep up with the good work
Here from Tik Tok but great content keep up the great work on your vids
Thanks to Daily dose I discovered this wonderful channel, keep the good job guys
Your parents brought me here 🥰 I'll enroll to nursing school this year . So, I'll make sure to watch your channel.
Just saw your parents on the TikTok and had to subscribe!!
Your recent collaboration video is getting pushed by the algorithm! Amazing work on your channel!
Looks like fun travelling, great video!
Thanks Zach!
Damn when they said you had a CZcams channel I wasn't expecting stuff as cool as this
Awesome!!! Thanks to Daniel for demoing, and to you Tate, for sharing.
It would be amazing to see the final Explosive Capacitor Discharge demo in slow-mo.
Replaying at 1/4 speed (player setting), or frame-by-frame, highlights two distinct explosions.
Happy Graduation!!
Thank you!
Came here from tiktok - keep it up!
Man this video ended with a BANG!
Amazing. Would love to see that little explosion in super slow motion. Maybe a colab with @theslowmoguys ?
Hit them up and annoy them! I would love to, but they didn’t respond to my email.
Thank you so much for bringing us on this journey!
I was smiling like a kid the whole time.
I'm so glad!
Awesome video! Keep up the great work friend! :)
The first demonstration was soooo cool!
I'm going to miss this due to school but this looks so damn awesome!
Hi dude, your parents gave you a shout out on graduation day, so I came to check you out and follow your channel. Thanks for what you're doing!
Another way to think about that levitating magnet in the copper blocks is the eddy currents only exist when the magnet is moving. As soon as it slows the eddy currents reduce allowing it to move again.
You have supporting Parents. Great Channel!
Asking USC parents what they do for a living got me here. Now I am hooked.
Your parents sent me! Congratulations
congrats!!!
"And there's the metal vapor, the smoke." 12:14 😱☠
Someone need to show that guy that Action Lab video with the levitation trick with a dremel; would probably make for a good addition to the collection of demos they have there.
just got back from school to watch this, the capacitor explosion was fucking beautiful
AWESOOOOME 😃
came from the usc video!!
Daniel D. Is The Man!
Yes he IS!!
Really hoping you'll talk to Dan Winter about plasma toroids.
Hello im here from tiktok ur parents are so proud and so cute keep goinggggg 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thank youuu!!
would love to see that last one through the eyes of a phantom camera at max speed
Your parents are good people
Am I correct in thinking that eddy currents are similar to turning the copper block into a generator of sorts since you're inducing electromagnetic force through movement of magnets?
That 'Eternal Flame' hydrogen demonstration has peaked my interest. Do you have much information on the vessel? From my observation it seems to be 2 cones as a bicone with a tiny hole at the top for hydrogen to escape and burn and a cylinder at the base as air and intital hydrogen inlet.
Would love some more information.
That’s exactly right. I dont think there’s any other details to its design

I felt that camera flinch on the eternal flame 🤣
It got me good😂
Charlie Chang brought me here!
👀🍿❤️
Bring the slomo guys in! Wow
How much salary ?
Sorcerer!
must've been really cool to be there at Harvard, I'm happy for you 🤯
It was so cool! Thank you!
Dampening is getting things wet. The word you were looking for is damping.
where are the slow-mo guys when you need them.
that part about stable levitation not being possible is pretty funny because he literally just described how it is possible... just doesn't have the idea of how to do it :)
That statement " there is no equalibrium "at 4:40 is incorrect. You just have the wrong element
Your mom just gave you a shout out.

Look to the sparcs when you soom in they show you wat is happening ❤
The moment u understand it❤
The magnet introduce conditions towart the behavieure of the cohesieun of the koper dimention in to the coper dimention for the magnet to react inbetween it❤
Actualy this experiment should olrady have proven that cenetic magneticle(draged and released as counter feildflow ) dus exists😅😅😅
As your second plate coorolates with the uperplate❤ ophone the conditions of the closing in magnet❤
In a way if you vind a way to make a regulating full valve gate resistor for the big magnet it's feildflow to lower and higher resistance you are able to stabilize the magnet below❤
Question if you rotate the lower magnet in operside direction?
Vergeten the top and see it'll the motion is a litle bit more smoothly our not🙏😋😍🙏
And the uper separately olso in boths directions❤ and see if it is diverend 😍
So beautiful oll thos things you have❤ like a bick playground ❤
Sparks in your case is not a pixel error❤
