I was born in 1997 and was introduced to Knight Rider and The A Team at a young age, I've watched them both my whole life :) even now, I'm 16 in October and I still love both shows :) I have watched both updated versions of the show and must say I prefer the originals :)

However I think that there is something wrong with his demeanor, there is a difference between "I'm an Elder" and "I'm old and things are changing too fast for me to adapt even though i make some good points" Remember kids, not all old people are elders, some of them are just old and partially/fully mentally disturbed. Same goes for some young adults, some are mature beyond their years...the rest...well you know the story.
Dutch Star Con was the name of that event if I'm not mistaken, my friend Gary and I were present there. Oh these guys, they're Awesome and very friendly. It was Great to meet them in person

equenoxe...he does keep in shape, and he is on a strict diet. And for the record, I have a coworker who's battling breast cancer for years and she does not look, nor act the way Dirk does. Instead of complaining she makes hair wigs for cancer patients. My former supervisor also battled cancer four times and while it finally took him in 2004, he was always upbeat and determined. Remember also Dirk probably didn't do radiation or chemo (not sure of this) - he went on the macrobiotic diet about this time. He COULD do something productive like other cancer patients/survivors, but instead he's decided to complain, making him come across as a grumpy old man instead of the the "handsome" gent he thinks he is. I used to be a fan of his until I discovered just how nasty and miserable he can be. It's a shame, too. Because of the way his mom treated his dad (and possibly himself?) he sees women from a skewed angle. Who knows if his 2 sons even had contact with their mother. He's also said that he usually only hangs around guys. I watched him on Celebrity Big Brother many years ago, and you can see how uncomfortable and RUDE he is. Especially around women. I feel he's chosen to act like a douchebag and doesn't care.
