    Some useful tips, and insights. Would be even better without the music over the dialogue, which isn’t necessary and is a little distracting.

    I also teach classes, when there is no virus. I use containers from Hellman's Mayonnaise (in the U.S.) to dispense the glue, which I buy in the large containers, and these have a very clever opening in the nozzle. It stays very clean and does not get clogged. I have students do method three, which is to squeeze a little glue from the mayo container onto a plastic lid, and they use flux brushes to apply the glue. These are not little, so you can't use method #1 with them.

      Thank you for your information. It is good to know how others use the glue. all this information gives viewers the opportunity to work out which method will work for their particular circumstances. cheers.

    You can water Weldbond down as it is very strong. Also if you leave 3-5mil around the edge when glueing tiles down, it leaves a gap for the Glass & tile Grout adhesive to grab the glass tile edge. A nice neat edge. Also don’t use Weldbond for exterior use when in the wet weather. In 2001 when I used to use it with my students I bought smaller bottles to decant it too, then the lids and bottles can be washed and kept clean.

      Hi Neena. thank you for your information. All of this is useful for anyone thinking about using WELDBOND. It is not a glue for outside and water features. I would only recommend it for inside as stated in my video. Decanting Weldbond is a good way of working with it in large groups. Cheers and thank you. Happy tiling.

    Does WeldBond dry clear?

    • @HannMadeStudio
      @HannMadeStudio  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes,,,,,weld bond does dry clear. However, I had a test tile, 2 glass squares 1 inch pieces, they took one month to dry.
      You need to be patient.
