The reason 500 Days of Summer starts like that is because the next shot is more text in the same style saying "Especially you Jenny Beckman" and then another shot saying "B!tch." (not censored in the movie, just didn't want CZcams to auto-delete my comment). You basically saw the set-up without the punchline in this video.
It's also screaming out "this is an unreliable narrator. Take this story you're about to see with a grain of salt"

Not recognizing Agent Cody Banks from even a single frame is a sin.
I knew Swiss Army Man based on the color. It’s one of my favorite movies so it was pretty easy to recognize lol.
I felt that the water had a more green undertones as opposed to The Master which felt like a full vibrant, deep, blue.

Cane Toads is a wild doc honestly

@@popflicktionedits3256 I haven't seen it in a long time, but if I remember correctly, Cane Toads are an invasive species in Australia. So they are a big nuisance to the local ecosystem, and there's SO many of them. But the wild part was that they are HUGE toads, like just gargantuan, and they showed things like a little girl playing with one like it's a large doll. But also there was a scene of a van on a joyride swerving down a country road, trying to run over as many cane toads as possible. And each toad they hit makes this loud popping explosion sound, crazy. There was also like a folky banjo song about them. I watched this in high school bio class when we had a sub, so all these things just seemed that much more wild sitting in a classroom. I recommend a watch if you're curious lol.

Scooby Doo and Kiss is actually one of the best Scooby Doo movies. Seriously whoever thought of adding magical girls was a god.

I somehow also immediately thought that one shot was Mamma Mia 2, despite the fact that I’ve never seen either Mamma Mia movie
I wish these videos would have the guessing portion, but then when we get to the cheat sheet section, they play out the first whole scene and Karsten react to that scene

I'm very disappointed that "romy and michelle's high school reunion" wasn't here, but it's the movie you gotta watch carefully, not just an opening shot
Fully recommend the Cane Toads documentary. It's about invasive species and has a really offbeat sense of humor about it. The shot of the man swerving his car so he can run over the excess toads, accompanied by the soft popping noises, lives rent free in my head.
The two things I recognized were obviously Jurassic World, but also Swiss Army Man, which made me a little proud.
I also guessed that the one was a Transformers film, but not which one. I thought it might have been the 5th one, since I only watched that one once, but I didn't see Rise of the Beasts and completely forgot that even existed, so I didn't have it on my mind.
But what a fun video! Great choice not showing the titles during the first run so we could guess alongside you. Wonderful format I'd like to see much more of.
Seeing Weathering with You makes me want to watch it again. I remember it being my favourite of the Makoto Shinkai films I had seen

I learned about the existence of cane toads literally earlier today, and now I see this video. Baader-Meinhof's doing its thing.
Cane Toads: An Unnatural History is a hilarious documentary. It's about the invasive cane toads in Australia and people's various opinions on them. This ranges from using cane toads like dolls for little kids, a man singing a ballad about cane toads in the shower, and another man detailing the process of him purposely running over cane toads. Would highly recommend, it's a great time.
