Just got this and have to say it is the nicest most well thought out wrist strap I’ve ever seen. The packaging and attention to detail was all top notch. My first PeakDesign product but definitely not my last.
Din't know about the bracelet idea. I always have mine swinging around. this is great.
Great change for the bracelet ! I could never use the cuff v1 as a bracelet because my wrist is too large !
Support! Got the new cuff in ash colour, quality is great!
I really love pd products. I already own the slide lite and now its time to get the cuff. Funny presentation by the host. :D Enjoyed it.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll let the Law Dog know, we don't usually let him out.
"rigidity" is a weird word that gets weirder the more you look at it
PS i
@3:57 "bye". Please have this guy present all of your videos hahaha
Got mine today! I love all your products!
Thanks for the feedback
Peak Design Video quick question I was looking to get another slide lite strap for my new camera, is peak design going to offer the slide lite in the colour ways of the slide (red & navy)? I really would love you to consider doing these colours for us. Thanks
Nickolai Williams Yes please! Slide Lite is now their only strap offered in nothing but boring/stealthy black...
Although for my part, I'm liking the new Leash so much I might just stick with that for lighter setup and big Slide for occasional use of heavy lenses.
I think Slide Lite's attachment points need a redesign too, the wider buckle always seemed less elegant and more bulky than even Slide's buckle + leather tab, let alone the new slimmer versions on Leash.
Just got the product and love it. BUT, .........if you have s SMALL wrist you CANNOT store it on your wrist as a bracelet.
great cuff, its just what I've always wanted. I usually just hang my camera on my fingers, this just gives me a bit of security. I can't what until they make a chest harness like the cotton carrier
Now this looks promising. I think I'll need to get me one of these. Any discounts for previous PD purchants? Are you guys thinking of multicolored cuff links? Like that 'Ash grey' or 'leather yellow' to go with this new style option?
I'm sold buying one rn
I like it. After this vid', I'm going to take a look at my camera store.
I have a question: I guess that the Cuff in ash color will become dirty, specially at summer, when it is hot. Can I wash the inside part of the cuff (the inside part that goes around my wrist) with water and soap? Thanks!!!
Just purchased the slide lite, it is a great product!!! Ordered the capture v3 and Cuff Ash color. Waiting for the amazon to bring them to me :)))
Yes, you can wash the inside of the cuff with a damp cloth, soap and water. Best not to fully soak it without ensuring that it is fully air dried.
How about showing how the cuff looks like on a very thin female wrist?
I have the thinnest wrist on the universe. The bracelet thing looks very ugly on a thin wrist, not to mention the anchor housing won't stay attached to the magnet because it's just right pass where the adjuster is.
In short, people with very thin wrist can't wear it as a bracelet.

After a year of light use, I do like the functionality of this product. However, the V3 Anchor that came with it has a defect and is being replaced. So, for now, I will only use the cuff on my smallest camera, the Lumix GX85. After looking at the four variations of the anchor I wonder why PD every changed the design except to cut costs. A costly mistake that has many users saying never again to PD products.
Hi Paul, the reduction in the thickness of anchor cords certainly was not to save money, rather an attempt to service the increasingly shrinking strap eyelets offered by many manufacturers, in an attempt to avoid customers having to use keyrings (which is often normal with OEM straps).
This is the best wrist strap I've ever used. But there is two point I didn'y like :
- My adjuster nearly impossible to move to the lock position. It's very hard !
- The magnet will leave a mark on the leather part if I move it.
Everything about this design is great, except for the use of a magnet to have the strap wrap around your wrist. I wear an automatic watch, and a magnet will mess with its movement. I'll stick with the Leash for now.
The ash grey one would look more amazing with silver hardware...the black attachment point looks better with the black cuff...not so much on the grey cuff.
Thanks for your comment, the Ash Leash is supplied with a Silver Anchor Mount, the Black with a more gun-metal/dark colored Anchor Mount.
these videos should ideally be replaced. you are promoting direct connection to the camera body, when that is no longer your recommendation and you have redesigned the anchors to remove the thin cord
