- Chris Gunning's lovely closing theme to the TVS children's series "Mr Majeika" followed by an ad break and the opening of Bullseye.

They flipped the shot at 2:55 for effect.
I always found Bullseye strangely depressing.
Love the Mr Majeika theme...so comforting.
If you was a child at the time, maybe you find Bullseye depressing because it meant that the children's shows were over?
I used to love the random 5min cartoons that came on in between boring programmes on a Saturday afternoon
It's basically Johan Pachabel's Canon and Gigue in D Major.
Moo!
I remember Mr. Majeika and Bullseye. RIP Jim Bowen.
I watched this when I was young I loved the theme tune and the hair wiggle
Anyone else spot jack meadows off the bill in the first advert?
Sunday 3rd April 1988
Chris Lloyd Pack, stage manager for Mr Majeika,,,any relative of the late Trevor Lloyd Pack?
I had no idea showers existed in 1988
Easter Sunday 1988
That bank ad is very effective until they get to the scream train whistle. The B&Q jingle is very catchy (I'm always surprised about casual nudity in ads like that though). The Funny Side trail is way too busy and messy.
Great adverts-The 80's were brilliant..........Do you have any adverts or intro/episodes for Erasmus Microman anywhere?
Not that we've digitized so far, but we've only gone through around half the tapes for 1988 & 89.
Ah ok please let me know if/when you do find some, They are very hard to find as only people will have them that taped it from VHS-As Granada never released them on VHS or later for DVD..........
I did have some episodes of Erasmus Microman but my silly sister taped over them by mistake 17 years ago
Last time I saw any was on a programme on ITV called: You Saw Them Here First back in 2014 with actor Nick Pickard talking about his career-I'm sure you know of it as was popular
Brilliant
I miss Sara Lee gateaus 😕
Tug Wilson
Anyone remember Erasmus Microman?
Yeah! It was broadcast around this time. I have searched the internet but other than a few TV guide clippings... nothing! It is possible it has become what is known as "Lost Media!'
