Dynamics Problem: Particle Kinetics - Radial & Transverse Components - Problem1

We've looked at a problem like this before in the Kinematics section; we know the direction of the velocity and acceleration vectors, we can use this to more quickly solve the problem.
The only new thing with this problem is that we have forces and Newton's 2nd Law
