The Mysterious African Ironman Combat Suit That Can't Be Real- Can It?

- In January of 2019, Ghana, a country with nearly no military pretenses, took the world by storm - but perhaps not for the best reasons. During the 38th annual Technology Exhibition organized by the Kantanka Company, the corporation's most advanced technologies were displayed.
An Armored Personnel Carrier safeguarding a group of soldiers armored with exoskeletons rolled before the eyes of a hypnotized audience, with the event calling for a solemn attitude and igniting national pride among the attendees.
But as the soldiers waddled clumsily through the parade, amateurs and experts the world over pointed at an obvious yet sad truth - the event was not a custom show but a very serious exhibition of military prowess... - Věda a technologie
If you didn't bust out laughing the first time you saw the suit, you have no soul.

@@stevewalker412 you're so right... they could barely move. LMAO!!!

Can't be true. I had no soul long before I burst out laughing at this suit.
These cybernetic suits are so advanced, they don't even need their own hydraulics connected to function.
of course they don't...they're bluetooth enabled
No no no…they are cordless, like the county’s most advanced new phones
Like pinoccio… they have no strings, to hold him down
It's Bluetooth
Not hydraulic at all. They are electrically actuated and have redundant battery power from two sources. This is all top secret. What has not been released is the number of electrocution casualties and what happens to the LiFePO4 batteries when penetrated by small arms fire.
Those are actually sweat and blood drain tubes…
Imagine being in a combat zone and trying not to laugh as you shoot one of these African Ironmen as he awkwardly tries to waddle from cover to cover
Pretty sure you can take them out with a .22 Lr or 25 ACP so yeah the only difficulty would be aiming while laughing hysterically

I've worked with armored vehicles with an armor thick enough to stop small arms rounds. The driver's hatch on those were similarly sized to the one we can see on the so-called "APC" in the video. These hatches were HEAVY. The mechanism to lock a hatch like that in a raised position had to be bulky and there was a huge spring to counterbalance its weight. Meanwhile in the video we can see that in their "APC" it is being held up by a pair of flimsy car hatch struts. I strongly doubt this "APC's armor plating" is any thicker than sheet metal not even thick enough to even stop most small arms bullets.
Sounds like the St. Chamond
@Dash Riprock the inside of the suit is lined in uno reverse cards, the bullets simply bounce off them
uh uh "cheap chinese sheet metal(almost certainly not steel)". Id bet my house pistol rounds could penetrate in places, notably the engine armor, if not the crew compartment. I do mean stupid powerful pistols and Im specifically talking about a .454/70 Mareleg Lever action. The gov likes to call them pistols under a certain length, so ill bend that for this task. This thing is clearly a motor coach with a welfare armor refit.
The sheet of half inch steel that's been hanging in a firing range for 70 years says you guys are all full of shit
Will stop most calibers of air rifle BBs though.

As a Ghanaian and a fan of this channel I never dreamed of seeing an episode about kantanka on this channel. I will like to stress on the fact that he has no ties to the military or what so ever, what he does is only for exhibition.

To be fair, the APC is not useless. If it can stand up to small arms fire, it's already good enough for a SWAT team. And if the APC is made of civilian truck parts, then that makes it pretty cheap and easy to maintain.
Also, those bodyarmor suits boosted morale among the local population (especially kids), so that's already mission accomplished. As for practical use, plastic plate armor is potentially useful for close combat by being punch-proof and stab-proof. If their local law enforcement has to put up with a lot of stab-related crimes, then something like this might be exactly what they need. They just need to make the suits more "ergonomic" and comfortable to walk in.
