Bought the led strip light for Christmas. Haven’t used it fishing yet but it’s awesome working on projects in dark places. So much lighter on my head than a big light.
I am a bank fisher most of the time. I always keep tiki torches, flashlights, headlamps, tiki fuel, and extra batteries in my car. I have a rechargeable flood light that lasts for hours on end on low. There isn’t anything worse than being out at the water, and not being able to see the way back to your car. I haven’t been night fishing without lights in close to 10 years. Headlamps are your best friend at night, and definitely worth the investment!

I'm a bank walker, and it's nice to know you can get a pair of these new glove lights now because how many times have you been caught in the dark @ had to pee! Now i can find the ole Alabama black snake without worrying it's going to bite me in the dark. Just hope they are IPX waterproof rated in case i bump into that poisonous one eyed monster because i k now I'm fixing to piss myself! One more note, Don't for get those Snake chaps when those critters are a crawling. Be safe @ always remember, If you get bit dont call me because all I'm doing is call a ambulance or a hearse for ya because i definitely ain't going to suck out the poison if you get bit a peeing. Do yourself a favor @ get you some of them glove lights! Did i mention # 2's in the dark. There washable too! 🚣♀️ ☠️ 😱 🤏 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Lmao!

Gotta have the red light!!! Makes doing anything in the dark better in my opinion and it helps when out picking your worms for fishing too!!! I usually get out a few wet nights in early spring and will pick a few hundred worms to keep in my vermicomposting box for fishing throughout the remainder of the year.

I set up lane closures for work and we use head lamps on our hard hats. The Halo light but I’m like you the light weight the better. The halo lights are heavy and I don’t like to wear it. I’ll be looking for something light weight for my personal use. Thanks for the video.

I have one of those space man looking ones only bigger, it lights from one end of my street to the other. I haven't got up the nerve to put it on my head yet, it weighs a ton but it makes good hand held flashlight

I own at least 2 dozen head lamps , all of them are great but my go to as of late is my Claymore , the things bright & it’s a 3 in 1 light with dimmer setting , just charge it up & clip it onto my ball cap brim & go , runs all night long .

While checking out headlamps take a look at the THRUNITE (I have the TH20 @ MAX 520 lumens). I prefer ones that take a rechargeable AA battery because with the only built in rechargeable's, you don't always have a place to recharge where as I can carry a couple AA's in my pocket or pack.

I have definitely been wanting to give Olights a try for sure!! I wish they would send me a head lamp to try out for working on vehicles out on the road for towing them back!! I have one of the Miller headlamps that you did not tryout but it’s 1800 lumin’s but for recharging it you have to unscrew one of the side caps 3/4 of the way and that gives you access to the charging port!! That is the only thing I don’t like because it can be a little difficult to make sure you have it open to the Wright distance!! Other than that I like it!! Oh and it’s adjustable on the head strap and also comes with a replacement one just incase one of them break!! A lot of the Amish use this kind and that is actually we’re I had gotten mine from!! But would definitely love to give Olight a try and I bet I could even get the Amish to switch over with the Olight being much brighter!! What is the warranty on the Olight??? The Miller headlight has a 5 year warranty and that was one of the reasons that the Amish actually like them and use them!!! Awesome video buddy!! Remember keep up all of the hard work buddy!!!

My favorite headlamps are petzl. Black diamond are also very good. And I have Streamlight, and O light.

Streamlight make good pricey and low lumen lights but they are bright for what they are just anything they make with substantial lumens is expensive

I used lots of different "headlights" in my wildfire work and you showed some I would like.
for me it is about how long last and how fast recharge.
but nothing beats my old 4D battery light.
On That big olight , the orange one . The battery is changeable and rechargeable too . The bottom screws off and you can change it . I forgot to mention that

Lowes sells a version of the led strip light that is 400 lumens and rechargeable with USB. So far, I'm impressed with it.

The olight perun, both 1 & 2, are my headlamp and my edc. While they are rechargeable, the batteries are can be swapped if things start running long.
The perun also have a very high IPX rating as far as headlamps go. Almost dive capable
I forgot to mention you can change the battery dang it lol . I own 5 or 6 Olights they are great
@@FishinNStuff they’re my go to light, a nice balance of price and durability. The Perun are the only headlamps with an IPX6+ rating and use it for skin diving too.
Many of the lights, nitecore, fenix, thrunite…don’t always have great electrical durability. My first Olight was a freebie from SHOT show. It lasted a year of abuse and been a fan ever since
Headlamps are the most important part of my gear especially on a Kayak. Just have to keep them out of your kids hands because at 1am on the way back from fishing you don’t want to find out someone was playing with it and left it on……arrrggghhhh

Red lights are also good for not attracting bugs in the summer but green lights work better because they're brighter

Most important thing for me for a headlamp is no stupid rechargeable anything. I prefer a replaceable battery takes to long to recharge especially at night dont want to get caught in the dark
