You're welcome, its starting to age after a few years but I still use it. I am also considering getting a Lowry in the future, but this one is still easy to travel or use in my bedroom!

I have this stand coming in the mail tomorrow. I can't wait to try it out! Thanks for the tips about the drawer liner and attaching the Q-snap on its side rather than the top, I think those will help a lot!

I Hope you like it! I’ve had mine nearly 4 years and thinking about replacing but it’s so portable.

Thank you so much for your review, you were to the point without any fuss and muss.. also to mention that you can basically use any clamp light/magnifier that you have without purchasing another one.. great review.

Thanks so much for this video. I am wanting a floor stand for some of my bigger projects and I have been looking at this. It is also in my budget.😎😎thanks again.

You’re very welcome. It’s getting to be a few years old but if you are fairly gentle with it, it will last a while!

Just got mine home! I also use Qsnaps uptil now and immediately was disappointed by how much it wiggled. But the tip about loading it with the anti-slip-fabric may work out! Havent actually stitched yet but it "gripped" much better. Thanks so much! :)

I started with this stand and within a month I replaced it with the Lowery work stand which is sooo much better!

I loved mine while it lasted. Just under 3 years and the bottom plastic jaw cracked. They don't sell replacement parts. I expected it to last longer for the price I hope you have better luck with yours :-(

Thanks for your comment! It is a shame they don’t sell replacement parts, because I do like the stand and the ability to take it places with me easily. I am on the 4th year of use and I do have a small hairline crack in the plastic part used to raise the height and I’m trying not to aggravate it! What did you replace your stand with? I’m looking at the Lowery for the future but this one still works for now.

Hi, Stephanie, thanks for making this vdeo review! I've been considereing this stand and your viewpoint was helpful. One question: when you talked about how the Q-snaps are a bit twisty (ie, they don't stay put) in the jaws of the stand, I know you mentioned that it might be because of plastic-on-plastic. I'm wondering, though, if it might just be because they are round (tubular). I mostly use stretcher bars or hoops. Do you know how they fare in this stand? Do they stay put any better? Where I sit to stitch I can't work from the side, only from the front. Thanks!

Hi Rebecca I'm so glad you asked this! There is a big Groove in the clamp for a hoop that holds my 12 in hoop snugly. Adjusting the angle is not as easy as with a qsnap. You do have to grip the qsnaps pretty hard, like you said maybe because they are round. Unfortunately I can't answer for scroll Rods but if they aren't excessively heavy they should clamp normally. Also the top swivels around the base so it may be adjustable for your area. I hope that helps some more. Take care!
