Marwari Agarwal, Banias, Gujrati, Sindhi , Business runs in their blood. Even some Panjabis.
I'm a Marwari myself and all my business ventures have failed so far but I am not afraid to try again. Job kiya hoon kaafi saal but andar se sirf business karne ka hi man karta hain.

Marwari: A Marwari is one who belongs to the geographical location - Marwar[1] - Marwar being the districts bordering the Thar desert, viz. the districts of Jodhpur, Pali, Nagaur, Jalore, Barmer, amongst some others like Bikaner and Jaisalmer too.
LN Mittal,Bajaj and Birla's are not from Marwadi they belong to Shekhawati...LN Mittal from Churu, Bajaj from Sikar and Birla from Jhunjhunu.....so out of Rajasthan all Rajasthani people called Marwadi
But outside Marwar ( that is district/area you mentioned ) when someone say Marwari he/she mean baniya Marwari, Marwari who runs a business. Coz Most of the influential Marwadis outside Marwar are from baniya/ business community. Every marwari is not a business man . The biggest myth which should be busted

'Baniya' is a hindi word for person associated with business and trade. In Gujarati 'Baniya' becomes 'Vaaniyaa' which is derived from word 'Vaanijya' (means 'trade').
Baniya word jyadatar north Mein common heh haryana, punjab, Delhi, Uttarakhand, aur west up and Rajasthan ke kuch parts Mein
There are 3 important Regions in Rajasthan called Marwar, Mewar & Sekhavati with their own dialect . Of course Rajasthani is a rich language with a rich history and literature as well.Marwari is not a Language but is another Dialect of Rajasthani Language .

Marwari is one and only single community of India who do not take a part of Indian freedom fight or any contribution. They show humanity only in their community. They earn money from Rajput time to 1980-90 specially giving loan to poor people with high interest rate and it's result, they takes away the land or everything of these poor peoples. Just I mean that they earn huge money by black (tax evasion, scam, foreign bank) etc.
