Kala namak rice is like ordinary rice but it has a sweet smell and is sugar free.
I'm from firozabad distt, UP. Glass products and bangles were manufactured here in firozabad from a long time. Now yogiji has done a lot more things to develop "glass and bangles industries" here under one district one product.

Actually it's name is black rice but it is the mixture of white and black colour.
Secondly,it has a very good smell specially used for pulao and biryani making and as I am from Siddharth nagar i eat it every week 🤪

We used to grow Black rice here in west bengal too but not anymore.

My father has been growing kala namak rice for as long as i can remember. It looks like normal rice when cooked, but the uncooked rice i slightly greyish color. It has a natural scent to it, even the whole kitchen has its scent when cooked, the farm field on which it is grown smells like kala namak .
