I've never seen an entire tv series so brilliantly and succinctly summarized in the span of 95 seconds. This scene is a fantastic achievement in tv writing and proves how incredibly & brilliantly The Blacklist is written, directed, acted, and produced. How this show hasn't won an Emmy for best tv drama eludes me!
It's like real life. They don't hesitate to lie to keep the suspense or keep secrets from the people. Not so hard to wrap it up in one scene when most of it was lied about for seasons.

The reason of that is : at the beginnings when they test the DNA for red it matches liz DNA and when they to the test the bones is also matches liz because it is her mom and they didn’t mentioned whether the bones if for male or female. Moreover, the reason behind doing a surgery because his face and body was affected with the fire when liz shot the katarina husband who they thought he was her father.

i think making red the impostor could either be the best or worst decision they made on the show. For now (to me), it's the worst. That feeling I had about him and ESPECIALLY him and Liz's bond is just gone. And even more the fact that he was actually once someone else, and that someone isn't Lizzy's father. If you really pay attention to his relationship with Dom you would see that Red is portrayed like a black sheep son, he goes around the house like a son, he never told kaplan about dom(which just is what really makes me think he's the bro of Katerina). On that day his car was out of gas and he walked miles to get home on Christmas Day and found blood everywhere 3. Red The Imposter kills everyone who knows his secret, except Dom (Katarina’s father). In fact He’s being polite and extremely nice to Dom (being quiet when Dom nagged him and fixed his piano), and went to Dom to burn the bones, why doing that with Dom and not alone? 4. Red has a guilt that he can’t tell Liz, it could be he killed both of her parents or one of them. 5. Someone burnt Katarina house and killed his family, and that related to Reddington, that’s why he imposter Red to get under their skin to find who did it and seek revenge.

I dont get it, its too confusing, somebody might help me understand: So far Ive noticed: Red (stated) that he was going home for christmas but his car run out of gas so he walked home and found blood evereywhere (but no bodies?). (Hence their need for witness protection in S2) The real RR discovered this, and knew the cause immediately. He confronted Katerina with Masha in tow. An argument ensued because Katerina framed him; she had to. The argument got heated, it got violent. Masha, swelling with fear and panic, shot the real RR. A fire broke out soon after. Katerina was able to pull a still breathing RR from the fire, but he would ultimately succumb to his injuries. That's when the original RR died. Days after these events, Katerina had nowhere else to turn but a man named Ilya Koslov. Ilya was Katerina's first love, and he's clearly still in love with her in that scene. For that love, he agrees to become RR. Becoming Red will allow him access to a secret fortune that the original Red ammassed with Katerina. This is the fortune he used to kickstart his criminal empire that would become the vanguard for Liz. That's my best summary of what we know so far. 😅

Red did kidnap Masha remember? That's when the fire broke out and it was after the fire that Rostova gave Masha to Kate at the motel. However, this scene does mess with the tineline very heavily

It mustve been here when Rostova took Masha to the motel. She then mustve went back and tended to the charred body of Reddington. Kept him well, in the shadows until she ACCOMPANIED Reddington to Koehler. Don't forget. Rostova knew where the fulcrum was. Red didn't. Red said out loud he used to be sure what happened to Rostova, now he doesn't have any real sense of how or why she disappeared. I admit there are things that point to Redarina, but there are so much more that discredit it. The courtroom scene of late was one such scene.

One character done amazingly and could have been the best ever and other one is Elizabeth Keen probably the worst character ever made. Also if they kept the Red's story misterious and but not just in connection to Liz also Cabal plot and some other things blacklist would be best TV show ever but no they didn't do it right literally scriptwriters lost their way around seasons 4 and 5 and now are contradicting themselves. It would have been amazing story if besides Reddington there are 2 other strong leads trying to redeem all the things done in the 90's by CIA, KGB and maybe Jugoslavian UDBA -this way would span the globe better and every one of those leads would need to fix or make things right from the past while fighting shadow government, blacklisters etc

So, Red's an imposter now ? I dont get it, its too confusing, somebody might help me understand:
So far Ive noticed: Red (stated) that he was going home for christmas but his car run out of gas so he walked home and found blood evereywhere (but no bodies?). Katharina was supposed to kill RR at christmas (tape) Masha was not home with her bc she stated that RR kidnapped her. So where took the fire place? Did RR went with Masha to Katharinas house? Why should he do it when kidnapping her in the first place? So the fire was at RR house? So where were Naomi and Jennifer? If Red's an imposter how would he fit in? Why was he there rescueing Liz (he got burned skin) instead of being at his own family where he was heading for? Masha /LIz also shot somebody that night. but I dont think that was Katharinas lover/RR bc when she brought her to Kate she said "it wasnt your fault. It was a bad man. That doesnt sound like a man she had an affair with for years and whose the father of her child..... I can only guess that Red indeed changed identity with RR bc the real one died and so had to finish the assignment. But that must have happenend before he met Katharina. To me it would not make him an imposter, he just would have changed his name. Still wondering where that incident took place.....

The blood was at the original RR's house. Part of a frame attempt, I imagine. An attempt to portray Red as a traitor who crumbled under the weight of his sins, and killed his family in a fit of rage. (Hence their need for witness protection in S2)
The real RR discovered this, and knew the cause immediately. He confronted Katerina with Masha in tow. An argument ensued because Katerina framed him; she had to. The argument got heated, it got violent.
Masha, swelling with fear and panic, shot the real RR. A fire broke out soon after.
Katerina was able to pull a still breathing RR from the fire, but he would ultimately succumb to his injuries. That's when the original RR died.
Days after these events, Katerina had nowhere else to turn but a man named Ilya Koslov. Ilya was Katerina's first love, and he's clearly still in love with her in that scene. For that love, he agrees to become RR.
Becoming Red will allow him access to a secret fortune that the original Red ammassed with Katerina. This is the fortune he used to kickstart his criminal empire that would become the vanguard for Liz.
That's my best summary of what we know so far. 😅

Red did kidnap Masha remember? That's when the fire broke out and it was after the fire that Rostova gave Masha to Kate at the motel. However, this scene does mess with the tineline very heavily

It mustve been here when Rostova took Masha to the motel. She then mustve went back and tended to the charred body of Reddington. Kept him well, in the shadows until she ACCOMPANIED Reddington to Koehler.
Don't forget. Rostova knew where the fulcrum was. Red didn't. Red said out loud he used to be sure what happened to Rostova, now he doesn't have any real sense of how or why she disappeared.
I admit there are things that point to Redarina, but there are so much more that discredit it. The courtroom scene of late was one such scene.

Actually she knew all The time. At Season 4, Ep. Mato, Kate Kaplan said RR gave Liz At first time as a baby girl... Who Did this was Rostova (Ep. Requiem) not exactly RR... At least, not this RR yet. KR became RR to protect her daugther and hide KR.
One character done amazingly and could have been the best ever and other one is Elizabeth Keen probably the worst character ever made. Also if they kept the Red's story misterious and but not just in connection to Liz also Cabal plot and some other things blacklist would be best TV show ever but no they didn't do it right literally scriptwriters lost their way around seasons 4 and 5 and now are contradicting themselves. It would have been amazing story if besides Reddington there are 2 other strong leads trying to redeem all the things done in the 90's by CIA, KGB and maybe Jugoslavian UDBA -this way would span the globe better and every one of those leads would need to fix or make things right from the past while fighting shadow government, blacklisters etc
