Hey there. So the Donor block was from a late 90's Astro Van. They use a 5L block as well. The only difference, is the front water port has an extra relief port on the Marine block, this is for the constant waterflow from the lake/river. I found the full engine for about $500 CAD, and stripped it apart and tossed out the rest of the components since we only needed the block. Depending where you live, these 5L chevys can be found from $200-700 as a full engine from a scrap yard. I hope this helps.
