Thank you for an excellent review. I appreciate the close ups of the touch screen and especially the valuable advice on replacing the cooling fan duct with a self-printed improved version. I hope Creality sees this and implements an improvement!

    Hi Doug.
Excellent presentation with no punches pulled. Very informative so thanks for putting us in the picture thus allowing us to make a well informed decision as to whether or not to part with our cash.
    Take care,
    Paul. 👍

Just bought one, my first 3d printer. This was a great resource for me. Thank you. Do you recommend I replace the fan duct straight away or should I do some printing to get familiar with 3d printing before I do?

Hello, what a handy machine, mould anything,I'd like the N gauge loco and the figures.well worth getting.

that fan duct is like that because it cant be Injection Moulded like the improved one, so they left the back open. Shocking actually. They should have a family mould, mould 2 halves, to clip togeather.

    Hi Doug

I'm looking to buy a 3D printer, I've never used one before and really have no idea what to do. (I'm old, or at least that's my excuse). So which printer do you think would be best for me, the CREALITY SERMOON V1 PRO or the Creality Ender 2 Pro? I've just started building my first model rail layout, TT 120, as I don't have much space. Ideally I would love to print some items for that layout as I build it up. Are there files for the TT 120 items available? I've watched both of the reviews but still unsure.
I've been watching a lot of your videos and have picked up a lot of useful information, thanks for that.

For starting out, definitely the Ender 2 Pro. It's easier to upgrade in the future and see whats going on while it's printing. In terms of designs, theres a few bits here and there if you search online, don't worry about what gauge they are designed in because you can rescale them very easily in "Cura" software.

Why do I get the feeling Creality is making these to compete with other printers of the same style like Ultimaker?

      Nothing wrong with some competition

@@BudgetModelRailways indeed, just out of curiosity how much did one of these cost you?

This one was sent to us by Creality for review but they retail around ~£300

@@BudgetModelRailways WHOA! Definitely cheaper than the Ultimakers I've seen being retailed. I might consider one for the print farm.
