- With Manchester United in the news again after a disastrous week, it's time to look into how to fix the red devils! From a new manager to new player targets like Xavi Simons or Micahel Olise, it's up to Patrick Van Straaten (our resident Jim Ratcliffe), @jacobhorsfall and me to save the club... AGAIN!

Ten haag went above and beyond for Sancho, he was unprofessional for turning up late etc.

Yet demanding a public apology is stupid main character energy that doesn't make sense. He should have dealt with it internally instead of taking it public. Sancho is in a champions leugue final while united have a -3 goal difference and are in 8th. In hindsight it looks like a stupid power play from ten haag, in a season filled with stupid decisions he's made. Dude has done himself no favors
@@juniorkhomari1850 he didn't demand a public apology, he demanded that he apologised to him and his teammates, but remember Sancho decided to take everything publicly. What ten Haag said during his press conference was absolutely fine, listen to it again. It doesn't look stupid as the decision ten haag took is correct, he was constantly turning up late, not turning up or not working hard enough, ten haag is trying to engage the poor standards which have been around the club for a while. Doesn't matter where Sancho or Dortmund are, that's irrelevant, Sancho created the saga.
@@jhaychAbove and beyond seems very generous, there are plenty of diva players across Europe who clubs still get the most out of. None of the guys who managed him at Dortmund seem to have an issue with his attitude to the same extent, and it is not like the champions league finalists have much lower standards. It is certainly not the biggest stick to beat Ten Haag with, but he is also not blameless.
To alienate a player by calling him out publicly is never a good move, Mourinho did the same to regressive effects. Of course Sancho is to blame too, but a not insignificant part of managing at the highest level is dealing with egos and not burning assets.
I think there is a decent chance Sancho was just unsuited to the prem for both attitude and ability reasons, but Ten Haag's handling of Sancho's time meant that question was not conclusively answered. Of course, other than Chelsea, United are the worst offender for talent killing so it is even harder to judge fault.
You might also just know way more than me though, I'm not a United fan (if that was not obvious) so have not kept up with the various behind the scenes leaks.
People don’t want to agree with you because they’re blinded by one performance, but ETH did so much for Sancho. Sancho is a huge diva and thinks that he’s the star of the team and has a fit when things aren’t perfect for him. He should be sold so he can stop leeching from the club
The problem with Sancho isn't his talent, its his mentality. He didn't do anything under Ole, nothing under Rangnick, and nothing under EtH. Even Southgate doesn't rate him.
EtH tried everything to help Samcho, he gave him 3 months off last season to get the help he needed. He came back and showed a better attitude for three weeks then started being late for training, lazy in training, and not doing anything. He has to be the big in a small pond, he'll never succeed at a genuine top club.
Get rid and find someone who can handle the pressure at a top side.

im absolutely surprised that you lads dont think sancho is the problem (where as you seem to think its ten haag in the relationship of the two) sancho has had issues with mentality where ever hes been.
Ten Hag's first season "wasn't that bad"? His first season, considering the non existence of talent in the squad, was a massive success.
No talent except one of the greatest goalscorers of all time, a World Cup winning center back, one of the best holding midfielders of the last decade with 5 champions leagues to his name, one of the best 10’s of the league, and one of the Bundesliga’s best young players breaking records established by Beckham.

@@capsloccc4606It wasn't the 3rd best team in the league for sure though. Getting 3rd and winning a trophy, when compared to the average United season which is 5/6th with no trophies is a big success.
Although there is the caveat that United had a lot of 1-0 wins and big losses, so similarly to this season they overperformed their underlying numbers.
@capsloccc4606 Varane is in decline and is extremely injury prone. Casemiro has fallen off a cliff. Ronaldo did and interview with one of the most hated media personas itw where he attacked ex teammates and the manager. Ronaldo left after that, Varane is leaving this summer, and Casemiro should also leave this summer. Either he gets sold or released.

First thing I would do is look at the medical staff and training system because why are so many Man United players injured every year.
The medical department is being overhauled as for training system recent reports that Wilcox has been visiting training sessions might show they might under review too

United's biggest issue is going to be moving players out. Considering the wages all these guys are on, there's not going to be much of a market (aside from Saudi bailing them out) for anyone outside of Hojlund, Garnacho, Bruno, Mainoo, and Martinez, all guys who they wouldn't want to sell.
He has probably said it in the 4 hour meeting with sir Jim rather than to the sun
United should sign Moyes when he leaves west ham. European champion last year. Works on a decent budget. Would work to stabilize the club for the next few years. I think he would be better than de zerbi.

The issue with Frenkie de Jong is that he deferred payments to help Barcelona and they didnt want to pay him back if he left. Yes he wanted to stay in barcelona but does he only want to stay until hes paid what hes owed????

I would switch everyone in defense except lisandro martinez, with players like willian pacho or diomande. Really quality defenders in the 40-60 million price range that are already good but young enough to get even better. Also ManU needs a robust 6 like Palhinha or Partey but younger. And a deep playmaker who can play quality through balls and long balls to the forwards consistently. After all of that i would try to get another left footed winger, olise would be perfect.

If you think Bruno is the problem at United your lost pal. Idk where we’d be this season without him. Say what you want about his sulky and petulant nature (we can argue about whether he should captain) but you can’t put anywhere near the top of our biggest issues.

I'd look at Bayern but not for Thomas Tuchel. Rather for Dayot Upamecano as a CB. He'll literally cook as the central defender in a back 3 with his long-range passing vision & easily split apart teams. He'll fit perfectly well into the transition football that Ten Hag wants to play

@mahmoodhassan-ei1ig basically every first team player who was here before Ten Hag should be either binned or considered for a sell. It's not just their fault, it's a culture that has been created from the very top. A culture of player power. Every time there's reports of players not listening to the manager, the answer is always "sack the manager" when it should be sell the player.

I don't think those managers were the answer, I'd have sacked Jose a year earlier than he was and I wouldn't have given Ole the permanent job, but they were working with some toxic players without ability. Some of these players should have been sold years ago. But since we only sell players who want to leave, they're still here.

He's constantly fit, plays through Injuries, gives 100 percent every single game, he's passionate and understands what the standards of the club are etc, been extremely reliable and consistent throughout his time at the club, never downed tools and he's set the standards through his performances. People just say crap because he moans but Rooney etc did the exact same thing. Who would you have as the captain?
