2. We need to keep Amrabat, especially considering his cost. Also Casemiro and Eriksen would leave most likely, so we will have no one in the middle of the park.

Manchester United need a rebuild on the scale of Arsenal's at this point, the issue is that no-one will give a manager the time it takes.
Arsenal were a joke 5 years ago, now they're pushing the most expensive team ever to the last day of the league to see who wins (and they STILL have room to improve).

Last season, him and varane were the bedrock to one really mean defence. Furthermore, he has proven to be adaptable when he has to partner linderlof and Maguire at times. Very underappreciated.

in a rebuild u have to hold onto the ok players temporarily, u can’t clear out everyone and sign replacements for all of them in one summer. Players like Onana, Rashford, Maguire and Erikson are not good enough to start for a prem or UCL winning team which is where united want to be but u hold onto them all for another season atleast just so u can replace the players who 100% aren’t good enough such as lindelof, antony wan bissaka etc. You will need to sell the first players i named eventually if u want to reach that next level or atleast make them backup options but it’s better to keep those and play the half decent ones than replacing them and playing the bad ones

Obviously never going to happen but this is what’s needed to make Man Utd a good team again. You might think why sell Dalot, he’s at his highest saleable price this summer and there’s better right backs out there and Shaw is just always injured, obviously he’s a good player but that means nothing if he’s never in the squad.
You can’t toss the entire squad in one go, but the reality is a title challenging team a few years down the line has to get rid of everyone bar maybe 5 players. This is exactly what Arteta has done at Arsenal

The same bunch of players finished 3rd last season. Get good physios, doctors. Upgrade the training camp. Use the latest injury prevention and recovery models. This is the priority. If everyone stays fit, the most glaring positions to improve are just the def mid and striker serving as backup, probably a center back. That's it.

We (United) can't haul out players like Chelsea did. It must be gradual. In the summer, we need to replace players in key positions. We need a more technical and skilled CDM. McTominay can either play as a reserve striker or be sold. Eriksen has to be sold and replaced with a player like Barella who is quick and can drive the ball forward with technique but can also defend when needed. We need to strengthen our backline for sure. Evans and Lindelof must be sold if it's possible. Shaw also needs to be sold, as he is unreliable due to injury. I don't think we should sell Wan-Bissaka. He and Dalot should stay. We need Osimhen to strengthen our striker options when Martial leaves. The jury is out on Antony and Rashford. They need to be more disciplined and fight for their spots. We cannot deal with their inconsistency next season.
Bruno, Garnacho, Mainoo, Amad, Martinez, Hoijlund the rest can probably go, maybe Dalot but that’s it to keep

We scored 57 in the Ronaldo season, 58 goals last season, and 55 so far this season in the league. So it doesn't matter if Rashford is playing well or not. We need to look at how we can control games better and create more chances for the team and Rashford is very much suspect in these aspects. He should not be given the untouchable superstar status he currently has. He is just as expendable as any other player in the squad.
