I feel proud of the team. We’ve held our own against real in a season where we haven’t been great at times. This squad is heading into an important moment. Transition of numerous older players. Feels like we’re coming to a season like 16/17. Multiple over 30 and needing to freshen the team and also managing the post pep era

There is a difference between sitting back and being defensive and being PINNED back. RM was pinned and did well to hang on, credit to them and rode their luck as well. Just like City did in the draw at Anfield
Real Madrid paid us respect as well. We do need to find a way to unlock these low blocks though
@@TheMancunianWay I'd go as far as to say RM were scared of City reaction after they scored early. I'd say Arsenal paid City respect at the Etihad last game out. Credit to RM etc but I refuse to allude towards a defensive masterclass or brave set up

Was upset last night, don't even care today. Winning it last season helps for sure, but also the fact that for once we went out in a dare I say normal fashion instead of the agonizing exits that we were practically inventing every season.... yeah its ok. We can go again next season after reinforcements come in this summer.

Yup city only lost because they didn't their chances. People trying to romanticize the RM performance but if they went out, they would not have been as much discussion

Ok, so a few things
1. What Alan did was criminal lol, but he is correct, it wasn't the right place to say it but he's right, Haaland is still young and he has to improve, my whole issue with this is that if we know that Haaland is still injured why are we pushing him, we have Julian Alvarez on the bench crying for a game and he can't get a kick of the ball, now I know many would say Alvarez is inconsistent but it's not his fault, the guy can't get a proper run of form and what pisses me off most is that even when Haaland is dropping a stinker (not yesterday in specific) he isn't given a chance. I really think if this continues he'll leave and it will come back and bite us.
2. Im a Foden Sexual so I don't like when fans speak bad about my guy, but yesterday I cant blame him, the guy is played out of position time in time out it has to stop, Foden has been our best player all season why can't he play in the middle where he's shined for us all season.
3. At which point do we blame pep for his wrong decisions? Subbing Jackie G wasn't the best call since in my opinion he was our best player until being subbed. Doku did help in the creation of the goal however I think maybe Bernado should have been subbed or kdb. Also not slagging off Haaland or Kdb off but they needed to take penalties yesterday and to me they abandoned ship, to me they didn't show any courage.
4. Madrid is Madrid but this was one of the weakest Madrid sides in the history of Madrid (That's why it hurts so much for me ).
5. Lastly, What will we do about his low block situation ? because I can see many teams doing this more often to us now that teams are realising that it is our weakness.
6. Do you think Haaland should be benched for the rest of the season so he could rest and recover properly, so he could bang on next season?

I'm with you on foden I love him but sadly he was mis used Wednesday night for me Bernardo and him should have been swapped over earlier. Alvarez is brilliant but play him as a striker not out wide or midfield.
Haaland will be Important still for me this season but hopefully gets rested Saturday to heal and rest .
Yes we have to sort a way out of this low block we have too as this is how teams will play against us now
I think the best thing to combat the low block is to take the chances that come. It wasn't v a low block where nothing was created and less than 10 shots were attempted. Seen that before

I'd play him still we just need to play to his strengths 💪 for me and hopefully he can get 100% soon
There is a major hate towards city on social media , the media , fans around the world and it isn’t banter either the things that get said go beyond that , City them selves don’t help really let’s be honest , on the game proud of the lads didn’t deserve to go out

Andy townsend said celtic were a bigger club then Manchester City Billy mcniell said we were brilliant passionate Manchester City supporters I have been two celtic more times then Andy townsend and I was at the old firm when mo Johnson made his debut for rangers against celtic is massive football club so are rangers but I think these are pointless arguments my dad was celtic but my team is Manchester City football club since 1981 my cousins are celtic supporters and a lot of my family I know more about celtic then Andy townsend and I read about our history at lot totally changing the narrative we never said we were a bigger club then arsenal Liverpool or Manchester United or Chelsea or spurs even we always said we were a big club with a great following of supporters when we went down in the 1980s and in the 1990s we showed we were brilliant supporters that's what makes us a big club brilliant supporters loyal and true like you Martin Richard Patrick ozzy the brilliant gang on the 9320pubcast channel Andy townsend another moron with Stan collmore and Simon Jordan and Jim White I remember I Liverpool supporter in work saying celtic were not a big club I said he was taking crap because celtic and rangers are in a poor league nowadays people think they are not big clubs but they don't have the TV money like England and the rest we are a big club I don't care if we are not bigger then Manchester United Liverpool arsenal spurs Chelsea celtic rangers or who ever I just love Manchester City football club all the best for tomorrow Martin mate I hope we do the business and it's a good game all the best to you and yours mate

Haaland has been crap,Debruyne getting old,we don't create the chances we did. Grealish can't hit a barn door,yet we paid 100 million for him,time to cash in on Debruyne and Haaland,Haaland doesn't suit the way City play,he would be better at Liverpool.
Thanks for giving your opinion mate respectfully disagree on selling Kdb as we won't get his replacement this summer and for me still has plenty left
Haaland hasn't had best performances but still managed 31 goals and 7 assists with injuries etc so definitely keeping.
Grealish isn't a scorer and never has been tbh but has been excellent last few games since back from injury. But all opinions why we love the game
Why do you have 'never a foul' and 'footy judge mo' in the list of city channels in 'more' tab ?
both those channels are general footy chat, NOT city channels, and therefore are usually full with United, Liverpool and Arsenal commentators - why you supporting them ? Moreover, while on this subject, Alan's behaviour was that of a nineteen year old Arsenal fan - He should be embarrassed, and that he isn't means he should not be involved anymore in the channel. I am very disappointed in him, behaving like a spoilt brat.
I have them on as I go on there weekly to defend us that's why mate hope that makes sense. I won't allow negative stuff just watch me on it ha ha I stand for no city slander lol 😆. Regards Alan and anyone else we don't stop anyone doing anything as it's all volunteer stuff but I agree wasn't good tbh
