Turnigy 1/4 Brushless Go-kart😯 Still an amazing drive!

- A friend so kindly gave me this hard to find 1/4 Turnigy RC Go-kart a few weeks ago and iv been so excited to get it running and try it out after loosing mine to a house fire many years ago.
Let's see if it is as hard to drive as I remember them back in the day😅

No it's not overly fast but much faster would be impractical without a gyro and, well, I'm not a gyro fan😊
I will run a gyro for the 3s run and if I install a 4s esc I'll definitely need a gyro😅

Yeah I somehow still had the sticker kit from my original one, over 10 years in my sticker box🤣
And yes, power to weight is awesome and as I said 3s is probably a silly idea but I have too, at least once🤭

@@rccrazy i just found it in the back of a cupboard.. strangely mine is identical, except it's aluminum chassis, with carbon at the back section only. Has rubber tyres too.

The stickers would be impossible to buy now I'd say so hopefully you got it somewhere.
I have some of the stickers as I actually had 2 go-karts but it's not a full kit.

The wheels are actually race compound rubber (super soft) but I think my driveway is just way to bumpy😅
I need to take it somewhere really smooth then I should be able to work out if anything needs tweaking👌

The stock wheels that came with it, not available anymore.
@@rccrazy the stock wheels on them are a pretty hard compound. But you can run tamiya F1 tyres which are a much softer compound.
There’s Keilor but has jumps and templestowe flat race track but probably a bit for without a car
Ange actually took me to the Keilor track the other day, it's rough as guts but still fun.
A little dangerous for the Go-kart😬
If you go for a 3s run you should go in an empty carpark so you don't spinout and destroy it!
The only problem here is all the ones big enough have speed humps😱😭
When I go do my proper speedrun I'll take him aswell👌
