To be honest I kinda miss the 3D printer way with the whole helmet. Your 3D prints inspired me making my own successful helmet. Good video though.
You can still do this printed you’ll just need to do the sanding before

It's a shame I don't make these helmets to order. Ah, it's a pity. I could use one like this one, or one like Crosshair had in The Clone Wars. I'd love a whole suit like that. But I'm in the clouds, because it's a lot of work and would probably cost quite a lot. But you did a great job. And may the force be with you

How much water to paint ratio do you recommend for air brush painting
It really depends on the brand of paint you are using, but a lot of artists recommend a paint consistency like milk!
I prefer the original yellowish tones but damn that looks beautiful

So for 3d printing the pieces, how do you print the top dome part? I’m almost done with my first helmet and I printed the dome normally (with the open end on bottom) and it took almost a full roll of filament. Could I print it upside down?
You technically can print it upside down, but it is usually a pain in the ass. It might just be my fault, but I can't seem to get decent curves that way. It requires a ton of filler, time and work to get it done properly and smoothly. But again, it is possible, that I'm retarded and do something wrong🤷
