Made me feel so much better about an upcoming trip mate, thank you.
Glad to hear it! I hope you enjoy your day. Legoland is very plus size friendly and the ride attendants are very helpful.
Thank you for this! It's made me feel more positive about an upcoming trip! Did you go on the Hydra's Challenge ride? I'm just wondering about the sizing of it. Thanks again for a great video!
Hi Dawn. Yes we've both been on Hydra's challenge. Check out the Vlog around 3 mins in czcams.com/video/FAQ34N0Fto8/video.htmlsi=CSLbrza7gfUwCH6b
You wont have any problems fitting on Hydra's challenge, there's no belts or other types of restraints and is very plus size friendly.
This is such a helpful video. Thank you!
Glad you found it useful. thanks for watching
I am taking my son to Legoland on Saturday for his birthday, my husband was going on the rides with him but he has unfortunately broken his leg so now I am going to have to go on the rides with my son. I am a plus size woman and I am 5ft11 tall so was very nervous about fitting on the rides but after watching your video I feel SO MUCH BETTER! Thank you so much for making these videos and help putting plus sized and disabled people's minds at rest before they attend the theme parks
Hi Lucy, Thanks for watching and commenting. It give us encouragement to continue making the videos. You shouldn't have any problems at Legoland. The rides are very plus size friendly and I've not struggled on any of the rides.
Thank you very much for this content. This information is so difficult to find. I'm hoping the Ninjago and Dragon attractions will be similar at Legoland California. Also thank you so much for mentioning your weight and size. It's very helpful. I noticed that the photos of the Dragon coaster at Legoland CA has two individual seats per car instead of one bench seat.
I'm glad you found the video useful
What were your experiences at Legoland California? I'm taking my son next week. I'm about the same size as the man in this video.
@@rustyglock I was able to participate in every attraction I attempted, so overall a good experience. Coast Cruise and LEGO CITY: Deep Sea Adventure were no problem at all. Emmet's Flying Adventure Ride and The Dragon were tight fits in the seat area for me but the seatbelt and lap bar situation for each was fine. I recommend extending the seatbelt on Emmet's Flying Adventure prior to sitting down to make the process easier. The lap bar on The Dragon did not go down very far so I panicked a little but the employees didn't say anything when they checked it so it was all good. I went with my sister who is also a plus size woman so when we rode Fairy Tale Brook and Lost Kingdom Adventure, we each took our own row of the ride vehicle so we could sit more comfortably. At Fairy Tale Brook, an employee instructed us to sit on opposite sides of the boat in addition to our own rows to balance the boat. We also went to attractions that did not require a ride vehicle like LEGO MINDSTORMS, so depending on your son's interests you may not even ride that many rides. There are many opportunities to see rides before getting in line, allowing you to peek at whether adults are riding at all, and about what size they are. For context I am 5'8", chest 49", waist 46", and hips 56".
Glad to see you had a great time ☺️
I did!, It's very accessible for people of size to have a great day out.
It's always a great day out Liam - just woshed we lived nearer. There's only 1 ride I'd like to go on but have'nt lost enough weight yet. That's Flight of the Sky Lion. But admittedly, I am a funny shape LOL. Not sure if I'd fit on that, even if I lost a lot more kg. I might explain the problem one day, but not in the middle of a theme park ;)
Thank you for doing this video, going to Legoland California and was wondering if I was even able to fit in the rides being a plus size 😊 excited to go nonetheless
Glad I could help!
What were your experiences at Legoland California? I'm taking my son next week. I'm about the same size as the man in this video.
I appreciate your videos. What time of year did you go.. no cue??? When we went on the dragon there were about 200 people waiting I front lol
The queue might also look different because I use a Ride Access Pass, which usually takes you into the ride through a shortened queue line. We did wait, just not stood in the actual queue itself. So, often it looks like we've walked straight onto a ride, but we haven't. We do intend to do some 'scenes' covering the regular queuing system, but since Andrew and I usually go on the rides together (and I have the RAP), the recording usually covers just the ride access queue. To do the regular queue, Andrew would either need to be on his own, or I'd need to be having a very good day and a short queue time.
Hi Bella, We usually go in mid week (Tue-Thur) in May and September before or after school holidays. The rides were pretty much walk on all day except for the Ride of the Sky Lion, Sky ride and the Legoland express train which all had about a 30 minute que.. We noticed a big difference going on a Friday, que times were at least 30 mins for every ride.
More info needed for the flight of mythica ride. What sort of belt is it etc?
What size is too big
It's a lap belt that feeds through a loop between your legs. I have a 54 inch waist and I pulled the belt all the way out and I had a good 4 inches spare. I'm over 6 foot tall, so found the easiest way to get on the ride was to pull the belt all the way out while standing and then put it over 1 leg and through the loop before sitting and then fasten the buckle. Louise has a similar waist to me but 5ft 4 and couldn't get the belt through the loop on the seat.
Was the jolly rocker accessible plz
Yes, both I and Lou both fit on the ride. I'm 54 Inch waist and Lou is a size 26-28
Dude I was there the same time as you
We also went to Chessington the day after but it rained most of the day
It's our favouritre UK theme park! I'd go every week if we didn't live a few hours away. I'm a bit obsessed with Miniland and Deep Sea Adventure...and Monster House Party...and everything else LOL
Legoland? I think thats gonna take 1 hour away
If you love Lego and theme parks, get yourself down there, as it's really good. My favourite UK theme park (we javen't been to the other Legolands yet).
It's a great day out. Its just under a 4 hour drive for us. so we tend top go for a few days and visit Thorpe Park and Chessington during the same trip.
