    Sir, after watching you videos i found out the benefits of fasting. I was suffering from acid reflux and GERD BUT now eating healthy working out everyday and fasting for 12-13 hours have helped me cure the stomach related issues i was facing. ♥️

    Dr .. happy to let you know that I too have a tummy… and have slowly transitioned from 2 meals to now OMAD.     Dr, My husband is bit obese and also has mild fatty liver.. He had chronic cough from 7-8 months especially while speaking. When met with pulmonologist gotta know that uvula is swollen.. Also seems like he has OSA (though we didn't do HSS..he snores) despite taking inhalers it didn't help much.. Pulmonologist suggested that only weight loss helps..
    We have now adopted timed food intake and finish dinner by 7:30 max..

    I think we should not generalise
    Spb was almost always obese all through his life who lived 72-75 years
    Almost 80% Indian in 30-50 years are obese or have big belly fat
    Iam not convinced with this observations, over thinking. though it’s good to reduce fat akways
    There are other many factors lead to obesity , sometimes even birth weight/ heredity plays a role.
    . I feel it’s about healthy food habit , cut alcohol cigarettes, activities and biggest of all clean mental health matters most, yogic practises . If we do this no need to worry about how body looks

    Dr I have a question, when I eat Chapati made of whole wheat , it causes me acidity. But when I eat Roti made of flour (maida) it doesn't cause acidity. I am from Kashmir ( J &K) . Kudos to you doctor your videos are very informative.

    Dr. My hubby is well maintained... Not obese... He is a civil engineer... Always in field.... Takes good diet .. no junk... Also intakes 4 to 5 l water... only one bad habit is that he smokes around 6 to 8 cigarette per day... No drinks.... But still he snores.... Is it alarming for something else???

    It is not true that the obstruction is at trachea or at the entrance . Mostly It is at Naso pharynx , soft palate, or oropharynx ( tounge falling back)
    OSA Can be the cause of obesity or Vice versa. OSA alters your metabolism and due to reduced availability of oxygen, glucose don't burn out rather get convert to fat.

    Hi doc brother, for a long time i was thinking to ask u about the main issue for the whole people i.e., "snoring"..
    Suddenly tdy only i got this video , and also saw ur tdy's video as well.. that is about google and people😊. Yes it misleads sometimes, but it helps a lot to know abt the information we need ,the hope we need. And mainly we cannot get/unable to find, a down to earth and affordable doctors like you ,so only people get scared and also they are referring the google.. ok lemme come to the point, about snoring and obstructive sleep apnea, i too know abt it ,mostly all doctors will say just to reduce the weight its the only solution and after that only it will get resolved.. hearing these things i got frustrated and i thought is there no instant solution or medicine rather than the operations for these in this advanced medical world .. ok let it be..
    Dr.bahrucha explained very well, some more points which is very useful to us .. while he is explaining, the in pictures displayed right, if it is animated it will be better and will be very interesting and easy to know..

      Break fast doesn't needs to be in morning itself. You can consider the lunch as your break fast (means you are breaking the fast ). Please see the videos on intermittent fasting. It will give you more insight.

      That is correct Amal. Breakfast simply means break fast which you can do anytime. The crux of the topic is xyz hours of resting your gastrointestinal tract and by doing that reduce overall inflammation in the body.
      12 to 18 hrs of fasting is optimal. But don’t be disheartened if you cannot stay that long. Any change than your current practice Gopan would be better as long as it is longer than current fasting state.

      First of all congratulations on the great achievement of loosing and keeping off your weight
      There are no specific medications to reduce gynecomastia. Regular exercise and eating healthy should and will help

      I replied to someone else about this.
      Slim people can and will have sleep apnea. It is a common phenomenon. Anything that can cause obstruction to windpipe would lead to osa of some degree. Small oral cavity either because of large tonsils or large tongue or that your upper and lower jaw are not in alignment ie over or under each other would make your oral cavity smaller
      Also there is something called central sleep apnea in which case brain forgets to breathe properly

    Dr, I'm experiencing difficulty in breathing, especially when I laid down to sleep at night, I've done lungs x-ray and my lungs is clear, I did ECG test and it shows flat T irregular heartbeat, I feel tired often and my weight is 100kg

    Not Eating in morning May lead to lot of issue - this is the fact every one is saying but he is saying only at noon. Can you clarify

      Not eating in morning does not lead to lot of issues.
      You don’t have to wait till noon to eat.
      You can break fast at your will. But remember the count down starts from the first meal. You decide how many hours you want to eat or drink anything other than water and start eating accordingly.

      Anita.. CPAP is expected to keep your carbon dioxide level under control. Patients’ need CPAP for variety of reasons. Public platform is not the right place to discuss personal health issues.
      But if it is weight related… make sure your thyroid function is adequate and work on weight loss. That should help in controlling carbon dioxide and hopefully you may need less CPAP support

      Answer is yes. Sometimes snoring can be very positional example sleeping on your back May worsen it.. in that case sleeping on belly or on either side might be better.
      Though this will not eliminate the underlying cause of snoring.

      @@dawna3144 that is common to snore while traveling in bus or sometimes even standing up.
      Chronic sleep deprivation can cause that. Even though you may think you slept for 6 to 8 hrs… probably your brain did not and so you are tired and fell asleep
      Make sure you visit your regular doctor and get tested for routine blood work along with thyroid and get a sleep test. Also check for deviated Nasal septum since that can cause snoring
